Happy LAST first day of college to my girl 🥹💚

I am feeling all the emotions today. Watching everyone move their babies into college and realizing mine is already about to graduate 😭

She’s technically only in year 3, but she has enough credits that she’ll be graduating next term with her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a minor in Nutrition. How did we get here already?! 🥹 I swear I was just dropping her off for her first year.

So proud of her and everything she has accomplished, but whew… this mama is not ready 😭🥹

Two years of marriage, a whole lot of memories, some lessons, plenty of laughs, and continuing to choose each other through it all 💞

Tonight we celebrated with good food, a little adventure, and added our own lock to the love bridge 🔐 Of course ours says Dopey + Dopaliscious Richardson + a couple of 4evers💕

I’m thankful for us, how we’ve grown, and everything God continues to do in our marriage. Here’s to year 3 and every blessing that comes with it!

Happy Father’s Day, Michael! 💙

Watching you love, lead, and pour into our family has been one of God’s greatest blessings in my life. Your patience, strength, and unwavering support never go unnoticed.

I thank God for the man you are and the heart you have for our family. I am so proud of the man you are becoming and the way you continue to grow in faith, wisdom, and purpose. Watching you love Jalah and Messiah and pour into our family confirms that I chose the right person to build a life with.

Last day of middle school for Messiah and 14 years in education for me… whew. ❤️

Today was emotional in more ways than one. Watching Messiah close this chapter and prepare for high school while I reflect on 14 years of pouring into students, families, and school communities is something I can’t even fully put into words.

This year alone reminded me that nobody but God could have written this story. The doors opened, the relationships built, the opportunities placed in front of Messiah, and the growth we both experienced… it was nothing but God’s grace and favor.

From speaking at conferences, leadership opportunities, performances, new connections, and stepping into rooms that stretched him beyond his comfort zone, I watched him grow into a confident young leader right before my eyes. And somehow, while helping lead and pour into others every day, God was still covering and growing me too.

14 years in education.
Messiah on to high school.
Countless prayers answered.

Happy 24th Birthday, Javian ❤️

It’s crazy watching my little brother grow into such an incredible young man and now an amazing father. I am so proud of you and the way you continue to step up, work hard, love your family, and carry yourself with strength and maturity. You have grown so much, and it’s beautiful to witness the man God is shaping you to be.

There’s something special about the number 24 in the Bible. It represents leadership, worship, responsibility, and purpose. As you step into this new year of life, I pray you continue growing into the man God has called you to be, leading with strength, wisdom, love, and faith in every area of your life.

I miss you more than you know and cannot wait to see you when you come home in June.

I pray this new year of life brings you peace, protection, favor, happiness, and continued growth in every area of your life. Keep being the great father, brother, and man that you are. I’m always rooting for you.

Happy 60th Birthday, Mom ❤️

What a blessing it is to celebrate 60 years of God’s faithfulness over your life. Your strength, love, wisdom, and unwavering faith have carried our family through so much. Thank you for being the kind of mother who prays, loves deeply, gives selflessly, and always points us back to God even in difficult seasons.

Your life is a testimony of grace, resilience, and purpose. I thank God for every sacrifice you made, every lesson you taught, and every prayer you covered us with. Because of you, I know what unconditional love and faith in action look like.

I pray this new decade is filled with peace, joy, good health, rest, laughter, and overflowing blessings. May God continue to order your steps and give back to you everything you’ve poured into others over the years.

Thank you for every sacrifice you’ve made, every prayer you’ve prayed, and every moment you’ve loved and supported me through life. Your strength, wisdom, kindness, and unconditional love have helped shape me into the person I am today. Today marks 10 years since my grandma Lola passed away.

When I moved here in January 2015, I didn’t fully understand why God was leading me the way He was. But by May 2016, when she passed, I realized none of it was accidental. Every step was perfectly orchestrated by Him.

She needed my forgiveness, and I needed her love. What we gained in that time together was healing, grace, and a bond that only God could restore. The moments we shared became one of the greatest blessings of my life.

I left some things behind when I made that move, but what God gave me in return was doubled. He restored in ways I never expected.

I will forever be grateful for the time, the lessons, the love, and the opportunity to know her differently before she went home to be with the Lord 🤍
