ஓம் முருகா ⚜️🦚📿
A tribute to Thaipusam ⚜️🦚
a major festival of South Indian people.
In Tamil Nadu, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and wherever South Indians live, devotees pray and fulfil vows for Lord Murugan.

Why we celebrate Thaipusam:

Thaipusam marks the day Goddess Parvati gave the Vel (spear) to Lord Murugan, so he could defeat the demon Soorapadman and restore balance. Evil lost. Order returned. Humanity exhaled.

This reel means a lot to me 💗 a small step back to dance after years away from performances and reels, started with Lord Murugan’s blessings. And also wants to thank my friends who danced with me in this reel.
At first, I planned to ask experienced dancers to do the reel. These two boys are actually my friends whom I asked only to do the videography. But they themselves asked, ‘Macha, can I dance with you in this reel?’
Trust me, they had no experience in reels or dance. Still, they tried, practiced, and gave their best and the final result honestly left me speechless.❤️
