Web3 101 with JustHustlin’ - Lesson 3: Navigating the Blockchain, NFT and Digital Wallets Space

The JustHustlin’ crew (@officialjusthustlin) came through and chilled with us for the evening whilst overlooking the skyline of our beautiful city - Hong Kong.

We had some sick discussions about #Web3 and spoke about where it could potentially take us and what this means for musicians, content creators, and all creatives alike.

We also shared some of our insights from being in the blockchain space and got the crew set up with digital wallets, some NFT prezzies a list of metaverses to check out and a whole bunch of useful Web3 info.

These guided sessions are just one of the ways we are trying to build opportunities for the musicians and creatives we work with.

ACTIVATING WEB3, ONE ARTIST AT A TIME. Lesson 2: Choosing an NFT 📚 Todays session was with the man himself Saikong [ @saikong.wav]. We went through some of the basics about why people buy into certain NFT communities and what benefits (“aka utilities”) these communities might hold.

We asked Saikong to choose between 2 NFTs (purely based on appearance):
1) NFT 1 = Nouns #0284
2) NFT 2 = JuicyS #3379

No points for guessing which NFT he chose…. However, was it the right choice? 🧐

@hkwalls 2023 is on right now and we took a little trip over to @franks.records last Saturday to check out the HIP HOP 101, TAGGING & SCRATCHING. Needless to say we had SIIICK time hanging out with master scratcher @djfu1 and graff king @boms_boming_here and learnt quite a few things too. 🔥

We've been playing around a bit with #AI generated #music (yes, yes, we know, we know.. just bear with us) and we came across this.

This is an AI-Generated 30 second song. We typed in a series of commands culminating in 4 sentences. Choosing from the options below, what do you think was typed into the AI generator to come up with this song?

Let us know your answers and thoughts in the comments section.

1. Slow tempo, bass-and-drums-led reggae song. Sustained electric guitar. High-pitched bongos with ringing tones. Vocals are relaxed with a laid-back feel, very expressive.

2. A fusion of #Reggaeton and soul, with a spacey, slow sound. Induces the experience of being relaxed. The music would be designed to evoke a sense of serenity whilst being uplifting and motivating. All whilst being danceable.
