“In Living Memory” won a Student Academy Award!!!! Thank you so much to @theacademy for seeing this film and sharing this film. This is a Black film about the cadence of human life. I have absolutely no words to describe the amount of gratitude I feel for everyone who made this possible, family, friends, professors, classmates, anyone who’s watched, shared or spoken to me about the film; the list goes on. I KNOW THAT WOMAN!–I’m working on my second film and I’ve been applying to grants (#need!) I typically don’t like sharing things that are WIP but the love islandfication of everything including film grant applications means I’m coming to the internet humbly asking anyone who is in to this concept and it being produced to score this pitch at the link in my bio as public scoring is what will decide the short list of films for funding consideration <3!currently i’ve been biking around the city the past couple of months with my tripod and cameras, but id love to be able to bring on crew to help me make this and pay copyright fees for music that i feel really strongly about so if you like how I tell stories and believe in this concept getting a bigger budget help a diva out and I will be exceedingly grateful (for. guyssssss ive been waiting since september!!!!! thank you so much to the @adidas team @belle_ross @sarahbronilla for such a crazy opportunity to fly to jamaica and write about the first official Bob Marley x Adidas collection which launched today on what would’ve been his 81st birthday. thank you to the @bobmarleyfoundation and @cedellamarley for your kindness, hospitality, and thoughtful answers and allowing this to be the first time rooms inside of 56 hope we’re captured for the press❤️❤️ more pictures dropping soon !
