Beast. Super. Sprint.
Three races. One weekend. 34+ miles of trail, obstacles, and a lot of mud.

Saturday was the Beast (21K).
Sunday came back with the Super (10K) and Sprint (5K). Not the fastest times. Not the front of the pack. But the goal was never to be first. The goal was to finish what I started.

Every mile reminded me of Hebrews 12:1
“Let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”

Grateful for the strength to keep moving forward and cross the line. Spartan Trifecta weekend complete.

Birthday Month Recap 🎉
From running like a warrior in the Spartan Race 🏃🏾‍♂️💪🏾 to racing to another state for a fishing trip 🎣, crawling through apps 🌶️🍗🍎, catching vibes on the FLOHOM boat 🌊 before the dinner party at Facci, and wrapping it up with sushi and ramen 🍣🍜. This bday run was elite❗️

Feeling blessed, loved, and lifted by all the good people who showed up, showed love, and showed out. 💯 The cards, the gifts, the laughs — y’all made it a month to remember. 🙏🏾❤️

From the classroom to the conference stage, from Sunday worship to Wednesday youth nights. This semester has been nothing short of transformative. 🙌🏾✨

I’m humbled to share that I’ve officially secured tenure as an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. 💼🎓 #HawkPride

It’s been an honor to present alongside brilliant students and colleagues, attend powerful christian events that recharged my soul, and pour into the next generation through Sol Youth at my church, LiFT. 🙏🏾🔥

Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe it. I’m blessed with a purpose-driven calling and a village that holds me down, both academically and spiritually. 💖 To walk this journey at an HBCU, surrounded by legacy, faith, and black excellence, is a privilege I don’t take lightly

Here’s to planting seeds, breaking ceilings, and walking boldly in purpose. 🌱🚀

This Easter I remember the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The one who was betrayed, suffered, and died for what I deserve. Yet death nor the grave can contain my lord and savior. These days I found myself in many graves and feelings of death inside. Let me be reminded: dead things come alive in the name of Jesus. by @dorian.gray1911
