This little lady Common Yellowthroat gave me quite a bit of trouble. She started out standing on the ground on the vertical, but I couldn't figure out the best foreground-background color relationship. So I rotated the canvas and perched her on a clover.Oil, acrylics and dried wild plants on handmade paper on canvas, 5 by 7 inches. by @doritstudio

About a week ago, a coyote crossed our path. It was too close to fit in some of the frames, and it was running, a bit concerned by our presence. Not sure if it's Romeo or Juliette. If you know, please let me know!Regardless, it was a magical moment :) by @doritstudio
