When we met with Elly & Karl, we left with the vision we’re affectionately coining “Bridgerton meets Jumanji.” 🪴🌸🍃🌷🌱🪻🌿

It was vibrant & overgrown, but still contained so much charm & elegance (due in no small part to the beauty that is the Carnegie Museum of Art & Natural History).

We opted for lush, saturated blooms that were rich with color without being too “in your face” vibrant, contrasted with beautiful greenery that felt soft & bold at the same time.

Seeing it all come to life makes my face hurt from smiling so hard.

So come to us with your funky visions! We are booking for 2026 & 2027 now, and we want to hear about allllllllll your thoughts.

Caroline & Michael

There was something especially sweet about the morning of their wedding. Very little direction was needed. Everyone seemed to naturally fall into the moments happening around them.

Caroline’s mom kissing her forehead is one of those moments I keep coming back to. And the embrace she shared with both of her parents after her dad saw her for the first time is another.

During a ceremony, I find myself paying attention to so much more than what’s happening at the altar. The reactions from the people closest to the couple, the glances exchanged across the pews, and all the emotions unfolding throughout the room. Sometimes those moments tell just as much of the story as the ceremony itself.

From a New Year’s Eve flirtation to forever.

Sarah invited Corbin to her NYE party on a whim, and after flirting their way through the night, he asked her on a date the next day. A few hang outs later, the world shut down, Corbin went home to Colorado and Sarah stayed in New York, both probably thinking that was that. Instead, they stayed in touch, he made his way back to the city, and the rest is history.

Years later, the two NYC theatre lovers brought a little drama of their own to Pittsburgh and chose the most dramatic venue in the city.

The design: old-world romance with a theatrical edge. Rebecca of @wynneventplanninganddesign transformed the space with rich jewel tones, ornate gold details, velvet, sculptural florals and layers of candlelight. Tables were styled with overflowing fruit and classical statues, while a fountain filled with ice and champagne welcomed guests into a celebration that felt decadent, romantic and just dramatic enough.

A little New York, a little old-world romance, and very Sarah + Corbin.
