👋🏻👋🏻 I’m Seeing SO MANY NEW PEOPLE here and it’s a NEW YEAR so let me say THANK YOU SO MUCH 🙏 + here’s a quick reintroduction:

1️⃣ I’m the host & executive producer of That Greenwich Life — a podcast + community built around real conversations, honest stories, and the things we don’t always say out loud. I share tons of my own struggles around loss + family estrangement and have amazing guests into the studio too. Give it a listen! 🎙️

2️⃣ I spent years interviewing celebrities on red carpets and dishing entertainment news on all the major TV shows + networks 📺 while working for People magazine, In Touch and Life & Style. Now I’m using that storytelling power for good to help people feel heard, seen + less alone.

3️⃣ Being a mom to my kids Nick (10), Gemma (2) - and my furry kid, a Goldendoodle named Bleecker - is my MOST IMPORTANT and MOST FAVORITE job. Being a mom to my angel baby, Dean, who I carried for 21 weeks but never birthed or held, and the years of infertility, failed IVF (5 cycles! 💉) and more pregnancy loss that followed, shaped me more than any other life experience. I’m a loud infertility, pregnancy loss, + PTSD advocate. Through some miracle my daughter was conceived naturally + there’s not a moment that goes by that I don’t look at her and say - “I CANNOT believe you are here, sis!” 🎉🎉🎉🎉

4️⃣ I’m a luxury travel writer + content creator, and for a decade I have been covering properties all over the world from Mozambique (don’t miss Benguerra Island) to Portugal (the Algarve forever has my 🩷) to you name it. My kids are my favorite people to travel with and I love seeing the 🌎 through their eyes.

5️⃣ I’m an event emcee, live auctioneer + inspirational speaker who loves bringing people together. Mic 🎤 in hand, I’ve raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for incredible causes and I’ve even yelled “SOLDDDDD” to an iconic audience member: Aaron Judge ⚾️ (pinch me moment!). Side note: No one inspires me more in this space than the G.O.A.T. @lydiafenet 🐐

Au Revoir Paris…..for now.

It’s been 12 years since I was last there as a guest of Dusse Cognac for the last leg of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s On the Run Tour at the Stade de France (with stops in Saint Emilion, Bordeaux and Cognac) and I will never wait that long again to return.

The land of cheese, croissants and ultimate chicness is one of the best cities in the world and I’m forever grateful Ms. Dion (and Mr. Simone) brought me back.

Meet Dorothy as she experiences the vacuum enhanced infrared collagen red light treadmill. No one can actually accurately describe how it feels but she comes quite close- it’s like you’re being pulled down and cleared out- and you’ll love it. She also said- it’s not easy- no it’s not and it shouldn’t be because you’re also burning a ton of calories while you’re getting detoxed, drained, and cleared. It’s usually NOT what people expect it to feel like but they all agree- it’s good- it feels really really good 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 @dorothyontv taken in Greenwich, Connecticut by @dorothyontv

$160 million raised, and $35 million past the goal. 👏

Greenwich Hospital’s Arc of Care Campaign just wrapped as one of the biggest wins our town has seen in years. On September 25, about 450 of us came together at The Benefit for Greenwich Hospital at Riverside Yacht Club to toast what this community pulled off: its first fundraising push in nearly two decades, now fueling cancer care, pediatrics, brain and heart medicine, and mental health services for Greenwich, CT families.

We are so lucky to have such an incredible hospital here in our own backyard. We’ve been there for stitches, RSV, a D and C, a staph infection and the tragic loss of our baby, Dean, where nurses were actual angels and helped us through.

Both of our nephews were born there, countless babies of our friends were born there, we got our vaccines for Africa and Costa Rica there and I’ve visited the blood draw center probably 100 times throughout all of my pregnancies to check my levels.

Greenwich Hospital is a place that cares….. cares about the community and the people in it.

So excited about this fundraising goal being surpassed - When this town shows up, it really shows up. 💙

Amazing work to my beautiful friends Andrea Sinkin Jaffe, Jen Turano and Katie Fong Biglin on chairing the event - and Samantha Inesta for being the hospital’s biggest champion there is.

So grateful to be part of such an incredible night of selflessness and giving!

Never thought I would get so emotional at back-to-school night.

Motherhood moves fast, and nights like this make me want to hit pause and stay right here a little longer.

0 apples. 1 corn maze we never made it to. And somehow, the best day.

This has been such a rainy fall, and of course the one day we could finally go apple picking, the rain came earlier than expected.

Here’s the thing. A few years ago, this day would have gone very differently. Someone would’ve been bummed. Someone would’ve been irritable. (Okay, it probably would’ve been me or my husband). We would’ve driven home feeling like the whole trip was a bust.

But this year? Everyone just laughed. Wet hair, muddy boots, kids running through puddles, cider donuts in the car. Nobody missed the apples, because the apples were never really the point.

Going apple picking and having fun with ALL the Fall things is one of our favorite fall family traditions, and we look forward to it every single October. What I’m learning is that the tradition isn’t the orchard or the perfect photo. It’s showing up together, whatever the forecast says - or whatever it does.

If your fall plans got rained out too, or your family day didn’t go the way you pictured, I hope you found the good in it anyway. Not every memory needs sunshine.

Rained out, still the best day. That’s growth. 🍎🌧️

13 years ago, we said “I do.” Then we flew to Africa for our honeymoon and thought we had it all figured out. We would be as happy as we were that day - for sure forever.

We stood at the Cape of Good Hope. We plunged into the cold Atlantic with Great White Sharks in Cape Town. Spotted leopards at dawn on safari in the Sabi Sands of Kruger. Flew to Benguerra Island in Mozambique - basking in the after glow of our dream wedding but nothing but a bright future ahead.

And yes many amazing things would happen in years to come but honestly …. We had no idea.

These 13 years have been full of so much joy. But it hasn’t all been laughs. There were days, weeks, even years when we honestly weren’t sure we’d make it. The dark years of infertility tested everything we had. And losing our baby Dean broke us in ways I still can’t fully put into words.

But We’re still here. Not because it was easy, but because we chose each other over and over, even on the days when that was the hardest thing to do…… when we handled our grief so differently it created a canyon between us.

But we found our way back. And no, we’re not perfect. We still bicker. We’re still growing. We’ve fought so hard for our marriage and for ourselves, and anyone who tells you marriage isn’t work is lying.

If you’re in a hard season right now, in your marriage, with infertility, or in grief, I see you.

The hard years don’t cancel out the love. Sometimes they’re where it gets built.

Happy 13th anniversary to my love and a lifetime to go. ❤️
