Dorrough & Friends brought Dallas together for a truly historic event filled with great energy, unforgettable performances, and memories that will last a lifetime. I’m grateful I had the opportunity to be a part of something so special and witness history being made firsthand.

Got to see some old friends and kick it with new ones at the inaugural @dorroughandfriends last Friday. During my 27 year career, Dallas has shown me nothing but love. From 2000 when @glopez214 and Diamond D booked us for the first time, to my mixtape career, to I Look Good breaking outta the DFW clubs; DJs, promoters, artists, and especially the fans have always supported and showed us love. Dallas will always be my second home. Good to see so many DFW legends still doing it a high level. Big salute to @six3 for having us out🤘🏾 by @dorroughandfriends

⚡️🌊 IT’S MY BIRTHDAY! 🌊⚡️

Today I celebrate another year around the sun as SwaveOnaWave “The Energy God.” Blessed, grateful, and still moving with nothing but ENERGY WAVES.

What makes this birthday even more special is that “SUPERCHARGED” IS OUT NOW! ⚡️🔋 The perfect way to bring in a new year of life and a new level of energy.

Being on stages and seeing rooms fill up with the energy I’m giving is a feeling that’s hard to explain. Watching people dance, smile, connect, and catch the wave is more than music it’s an experience. Every performance reminds me why I do this.

I’m grateful to see another year and thankful for every opportunity, every stage, every supporter, every DJ, every promoter, every artist I’ve worked with, and everyone who has played a part in my journey. Your support means more than you know.

Halloween 2025, @six3 hit me wanting to book a show a Trees. I never imagined he would turn this into one of the most important shows that has EVER happened in Dallas

Talking to Dorrough after the show and he told me how proud he is of @tyeharris32 and OUR team. This is something I’ll carry with me forever. He has been a legend in my eyes since I was a kid in high school. He’s the artist that me and my friends would pop out to the clubs to go see before I ever thought of working in music.

Finally, thank you to Dorrough and @hashiixsenjoo for putting my bro @gavincopelandofficial on stage. Tye and I, invited his team to be a part of this special moment and it turned into more people being exposed to his amazing talent. This show was everything they said. The PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE OF MUSIC.

I really don’t even have the words.

When @six3 first shared this vision, I was all in from day one because I truly believed our city needed this. But I could have never imagined the response. 😭

Thank YOU to every attendee who understood the assignment.

Thank YOU to every artist who reminded us why Dallas-Fort Worth deserves a seat at the table.

Thank YOU to the home team whose blood, sweat, and tears brought Friday night to life: the staff, volunteers, DJs, hosts, cameramen, photographers, media outlets, bloggers, tastemakers, industry leaders, sponsors, and everyone who played a role in making this moment possible.

On May 29, the city made its case.

The response made one thing clear: Dallas isn’t asking for a seat at the table anymore… it’s building its own.

What happened Friday night was bigger than a concert. It was a celebration of our culture, our talent, and our city.
