One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned is that you can’t change people. You can explain, encourage, forgive, and love them, but transformation is something only God can do. So instead of exhausting myself trying to change hearts that aren’t ready, I choose to pray for them… and keep it pushing, respectfully.. 🫶🏾 until someone is willing to grow then nothing will ever change.❤️

One thing I’ve learned about God is that He doesn’t always rush to change what we’re facing when we ask. Sometimes He sits with us in it while He changes our hearts instead. 🥺💕

We pray for Him to move the mountain, and He starts by strengthening the person standing in front of it.

I used to ask Him to change other people, but over time I realized He wasn’t changing them first… He was changing me.

I’ve asked Him to make the waiting stop, and instead He taught me how to trust Him while I waited. There were moments it felt like He didn’t hear me, but looking back, I can see He was doing a deeper work than I could understand.

God cares about more than our comfort. He cares about who we’re becoming.

Some of the biggest answers to prayer in my life didn’t look like doors opening right away. They looked like my heart becoming more peaceful, more surrendered, and more like Christ… even before my situation ever changed. 🥹💕

In a world that constantly pushes more trends and more versions of who you “should” be, it’s easy to forget that not everything is meant for you. You don’t have to fit into what’s popular or force yourself into spaces that don’t reflect who you truly are. There’s strength in simplicity and in choosing what feels real to you without overthinking it. This took me awhile to truly learn. But, you are not missing anything by not following what’s “in”. You’re simply honoring your own taste & your own way of BEING. Stay true to that there is nothing more complete or more beautiful than being fully yourself without trying to keep up.🫶🏾😮‍💨

I’ve realized there’s something beautiful about becoming softer instead of harder. The world will give you plenty of reasons to build walls, but it takes a different kind of strength to remain kind, protect your peace, and trust that what God has for you won’t require you to stop being who He’s shaping you to be. 🤍
