Been quiet on here, but I haven’t stopped building. 🙏🏼🎶

MIAMI → JACKSONVILLE 📍

5:30 AM departure. About 4½ hours on the road. Mobile studio packed and ready to work.

By noon, we were recording, creating, and bringing ideas to life. Two sessions, 8½ hours of work, and a whole lot of passion for the craft. 🎙️🎚️

But what made this weekend even more special wasn’t just the music.

Sunday morning, I had the opportunity to attend Celebration Church with my client, someone I’m blessed to also call a friend, and his wife.

Moments like these remind me that what we’re building goes beyond music. It’s about relationships, purpose, growth, and being grateful for the opportunities God puts in front of us.

Grateful for safe travels, the hospitality, the creative energy, and the chance to keep doing what I love.

Back home with my family by Sunday afternoon. ❤️

Still learning. Still growing. Still building. All glory to God. 🙏🏼

PROVERBS 9 📖 | Wisdom vs. Folly

Day 9 of Proverbs.

What stood out to me in this chapter is that both wisdom and folly are inviting us to sit at their table.

But they lead to completely different destinations.

Wisdom prepares a feast.

“Wisdom has built her house; she has hewn her seven pillars.” — Proverbs 9:1

She prepares the food, mixes the wine, sets the table, and opens her doors.

Then she calls out:

“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” — Proverbs 9:4

What I love about that picture is that wisdom isn’t trying to keep people out.

Wisdom is inviting us in.

There is a seat at the table.

There is something to learn.

There is something to receive.

And the invitation is:

“Leave your simple ways, and live, and walk in the way of insight.” — Proverbs 9:6

Then we get one of the biggest truths in the chapter:

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.” — Proverbs 9:10

That really challenged me.

Wisdom starts with recognizing who God is.

Not pride.
Not thinking I know everything.
Not leaning completely on my own understanding.

But reverence for God.

And Proverbs tells us where that path leads:

“For by me your days will be multiplied, and years will be added to your life.” — Proverbs 9:11

Then the chapter gives us the complete opposite picture.

Folly is also calling.

She also invites people in.

And she says:

“Stolen water is sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.” — Proverbs 9:17

That line stood out to me because that’s exactly how temptation works.

It tells us:

Nobody will know.

It’s only this one time.

It feels good.

It’s sweeter because it’s forbidden.

It’s better because it’s secret.

But Proverbs immediately shows us what folly DOESN’T tell us:

“But he does not know that the dead are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.” — Proverbs 9:18

That is powerful.

Folly advertises the pleasure.

It hides the destination.

Wisdom shows us the full path.

Folly only shows us the moment.

Wisdom invites us to a feast that leads to life.

Folly invites us to secret pleasures that lead toward death.

PROVERBS 8 📖 | The Blessings of Wisdom

Day 8 of Proverbs.

This chapter felt different from the warnings in Proverbs 6 and 7.

Instead of only warning us about where foolishness can take us, Proverbs 8 shows us that wisdom is calling us toward something better.

“Does not wisdom call? Does not understanding raise her voice?” — Proverbs 8:1

What stood out to me is that wisdom isn’t hidden.

God isn’t trying to make the right path impossible to find.

Wisdom is calling.
Understanding is speaking.
The question is whether we’re willing to listen.

Proverbs says:

“O simple ones, learn prudence; O fools, learn sense.” — Proverbs 8:5

Then wisdom says:

“Hear, for I will speak noble things, and from my lips will come what is right.” — Proverbs 8:6

“All the words of my mouth are righteous; there is nothing twisted or crooked in them.” — Proverbs 8:8

That challenged me because there are so many voices competing for our attention.

Our emotions.
Our pride.
Other people.
Social media.
Temptation.
Our own desires.

But godly wisdom doesn’t twist the truth to tell us what we want to hear.

Wisdom tells us what is RIGHT.

Then Proverbs 8:13 says:

“The fear of the LORD is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.”

That hit me too.

Fearing God isn’t just saying we believe in Him.

It should affect what we love, what we hate, what we entertain, and how we live.

If God hates pride, arrogance, evil, and perverted speech, I need to examine whether any of those things are growing in me.

But one of my favorite promises in the chapter was this:

“I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.” — Proverbs 8:17

SEEK WISDOM DILIGENTLY.

Not occasionally.
Not only when life falls apart.
Not only when we need an answer.

Seek it daily.

Because the chapter ends with an incredible promise:

“Blessed is the one who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting beside my doors. For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the LORD.” — Proverbs 8:34–35

That’s my biggest takeaway today:

WISDOM IS CALLING — BUT WE HAVE TO CHOOSE TO LISTEN. 📖 by @dosia.studios

PROVERBS 7 📖 | Warning Against the Adulteress

Day 7 of Proverbs.

This chapter continues the warning from Proverbs 6, but what really stood out to me is the plea for a son to take his father’s wise instruction to heart — not just to hear wisdom, but to treasure it and allow it to guide his decisions.

“Keep my commandments and live; keep my teaching as the apple of your eye.” — Proverbs 7:2

“Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart.” — Proverbs 7:3

That challenged me because wisdom isn’t something we’re supposed to casually hear and then forget.

We’re supposed to keep it close.
Treasure it.
Remember it.
Live by it.

Proverbs tells us:

“Say to wisdom, ‘You are my sister,’ and call insight your intimate friend.” — Proverbs 7:4

Why?

Because wisdom helps keep us away from paths we already know can lead to temptation and destruction.

The story in this chapter describes a young man who lacked sense and allowed himself to be drawn in by seductive speech and persuasion.

“With much seductive speech she persuades him; with her smooth talk she compels him.” — Proverbs 7:21

Then Scripture gives us this powerful picture:

“All at once he follows her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a stag is caught fast till an arrow pierces its liver; as a bird rushes into a snare; he does not know that it will cost him his life.” — Proverbs 7:22–23

That hit me.

Sometimes temptation doesn’t look like destruction when it first presents itself.

It can sound smooth.
It can feel exciting.
It can seem harmless.
It can even convince us that there won’t be consequences.

But wisdom teaches us to look beyond the moment and recognize where the path eventually leads.

The final warning says:

“Let not your heart turn aside to her ways; do not stray into her paths.” — Proverbs 7:25

That’s my biggest takeaway today:

DON’T WALK DOWN A PATH YOU ALREADY KNOW LEADS TO DESTRUCTION. 📖🔥

Don’t entertain temptation.
Don’t let smooth words override wisdom.
Don’t allow your heart to wander somewhere your spirit already knows you shouldn’t go.

Listen to the Father.
Treasure His commandments. by @dosia.studios

PROVERBS 6 📖 | Practical Warnings + Warning Against Adultery

Day 6 of Proverbs.

There was A LOT to unpack in this chapter, but two things really stood out to me.

First, Scripture gives us a clear picture of things the Lord hates:

Prideful eyes.
A lying tongue.
Hands that shed innocent blood.
A heart that plans wickedness.
Feet that run toward evil.
A false witness who speaks lies.
And someone who creates division among brothers.

Proverbs 6:16–19

That challenged me because these aren’t just things we should recognize in other people. These are things I need to examine in my own heart, words, actions, and intentions.

Then the warning against adultery hit me:

“Can a man carry fire next to his chest and his clothes not be burned?” — Proverbs 6:27 🔥

You can’t keep playing with fire and expect not to get burned.

Sin can look tempting before we experience the consequences. But Proverbs reminds us that our decisions carry weight. What we entertain, what we pursue, and what we allow close to our hearts can eventually destroy something valuable.

Proverbs 6:32 says that the one who commits adultery “lacks sense; he who does it destroys himself.”

That’s my biggest takeaway today:

DON’T PLAY WITH FIRE AND EXPECT TO WALK AWAY UNSCORCHED. 🔥

Guard your heart.
Guard your marriage.
Guard your eyes.
Guard your tongue.
Guard your steps.

And most importantly, ask God to reveal the things in you that need to change.

I’m grateful for conviction because God doesn’t just warn us about destruction — He gives us wisdom so we can choose a better path. 🙏🏽

Day 5 of Proverbs 📖 | Proverbs 5 — Warning Against Adultery

This chapter gives a serious warning against adultery and against becoming intoxicated by someone or something that pulls you away from the path God has called you to walk.

Instead, Proverbs tells us to guard knowledge, listen to wisdom, and remain faithful.

One of the strongest messages in this chapter is the call to:

“Rejoice in the wife of your youth.” — Proverbs 5:18

That stood out to me because the answer to temptation isn’t simply knowing that something is wrong. It is also learning to value, protect, appreciate, and rejoice in what God has already blessed you with.

Proverbs 5 reminds us that:

A man’s ways are before the eyes of the Lord.

God sees the path we choose, even when nobody else does.

That gives weight to the instruction throughout this chapter. We are reminded not to surrender ourselves to temporary temptation, because sin can eventually become something that binds and controls us.

For me, the takeaway is:

Be faithful. Guard your heart. Guard knowledge. Don’t entertain temptation.

And when I see the people around me struggling, I should also encourage them not to give in to something temporary that could destroy something valuable.

True wisdom means remembering that God’s way is not designed to take something good away from us.

His instruction protects us and keeps us on the good path.

There is blessing in faithfulness.

There is blessing in obedience.

There is blessing in being grateful for the person God has placed beside you rather than becoming intoxicated by what was never meant for you.

So tonight, I’m reminded that the question isn’t only:

“Can I resist temptation?”

It’s also:

“Am I intentionally protecting and rejoicing in what God has already given me?” 🙏🏼

What do you think when you read or hear the Lord’s message in Proverbs 5 about faithfulness, temptation, and guarding your heart?

Day 5 complete. 📖🙏🏼

Good night & God bless you.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. 🙏🏼

Day 4 of Proverbs 📖 | Proverbs 4 — A Father’s Wise Instruction

Tonight’s takeaway comes from Proverbs 4:7 and the breakdown in the ESV Study Bible:

“The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.” — Proverbs 4:7

At first glance, the statement “the beginning of wisdom is to get wisdom” can sound repetitive, but it actually points to one of the central themes throughout the entire book of Proverbs:

Wisdom must be pursued intentionally.

The ESV Study Bible connects this idea to wisdom personified in Proverbs 8:17:

“Those who seek me diligently find me.”

Wisdom is so valuable that we are encouraged to search for it, guard it, and continue pursuing it, not just once, but continually.

That stood out to me because it is easy for us as people to become spiritually lazy, distracted, or comfortable. We can know what is right and still stop seeking deeper understanding. We can receive wisdom and still fail to guard it.

Proverbs reminds us that wisdom is an invaluable treasure, but it is also something we have to remain intentional about.

And most importantly, Proverbs makes it clear that true wisdom does not begin with us.

Wisdom is grounded in the fear of the Lord and ultimately comes from Him.

So my takeaway tonight is simple:

If I want wisdom, I have to seek God.

I have to pursue His Word, guard what He teaches me, apply it to my life, and continue asking Him for understanding.

The goal isn’t just to know more.

The goal is to walk wiser.

To make better decisions.

To recognize what is right.

To guard my heart.

And to stay close to the One who gives wisdom in the first place. 🙏🏼

What do you think when you read or hear the Lord’s message in Proverbs 4 about pursuing and guarding wisdom?

Day 4 complete. 📖🙏🏼

Good night & God bless you.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. 🙏🏼

Day 3 of Proverbs 📖 | Proverbs 3 — Trust in the Lord with All Your Heart

Tonight’s takeaway confirms what’s been weighing heavy on my spirit.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.” — Proverbs 3:5–8

This really stood out to me because trusting God means I’m not supposed to depend only on what I think I know, what I can see, or what I can understand in the moment.

There are going to be situations where I don’t understand the path ahead of me, but I’m still called to acknowledge Him, trust Him, fear the Lord, turn away from evil, and allow Him to direct my steps.

Then Proverbs 3:21–35 continues with the value of walking securely in wisdom.

Directly from the notes in the ESV Study Bible:

This appeal encourages the one who finds wisdom to guard it and walk in its ways, knowing that the Lord sustains and secures the path of the righteous.

At the center of this section is a series of commands prohibiting actions that would go against “Love your neighbor as yourself,” because treating others wrongly is detestable to the Lord.

The chapter ends with this powerful reminder:

The wise will inherit honor, but fools get disgrace.

Those who walk in wisdom will inherit honor because it is the Lord who blesses the one who walks in humility.

For me, Proverbs 3 is a reminder that wisdom isn’t about thinking I have everything figured out.

It’s about trusting God more than I trust myself.

What do you think when you read or hear the Lord’s message in Proverbs 3 and the value of wisdom?

Day 3 complete. 📖🙏🏼

Good night & God bless you.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. 🙏🏼

Day 2 of Proverbs 📖 | Proverbs 2 — The Value of Wisdom

Tonight’s takeaway really stayed with me:

Wisdom is something we are called to seek diligently and practice, but true wisdom is ultimately a gift from God.

Proverbs 2:5–8 teaches that when we pursue wisdom, we begin to understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. He gives wisdom to the upright, and that wisdom becomes protection for the path we walk.

Then in verses 9–11, we see another result: wisdom helps us understand righteousness, justice, and equity. It doesn’t just stay in our minds — it enters the heart, shapes our decisions, and guards us.

That really spoke to me tonight.

We can study. We can learn. We can seek understanding. But ultimately, we need God to give us the wisdom to know how to walk, what to choose, and what paths to avoid.

I know this is a lot to unpack! 😂🙏🏼

Proverbs 1 ; The Beginning of Knowledge, The Enticement of Sinners, The Call of Wisdom

My Take Away : Proverbs 1 is referring to the way of wisdom & the way of foolishness as sharing this reality: each works according to its nature.

Further more, we all have a choice. The choice you make bares consequences & once you choose there’s no going back. You will reap what you sow.

Does that mean you can never choose to be wise? No. It means, if you choose to do something foolish you will deal with the consequences - the same goes for if you choose to be wise. You will reap the benefits.

The question is …

Which path will you choose?

The way of Lady Wisdom (or) the way of Lady Folly?

With that being said…

I pray that God continues to bless us all.

Remember - You can never go too far where you cannot come back home.

Goodnight & Till next time my friends.

Stay tuned for Proverbs 2 ; The Value of Wisdom.
