You’re the best thing that ever happened to me baloliii..Thank you for loving me so deeply. Don’t forget to like, save, and share this post!

dossarina is a Cairo-based artist whose work spans painting, photography, sculpture, and installation. She creates pieces that invite reflection on experiences, emotions, and perspectives, often moving between figuration, abstraction, and still life.

She describes her creative direction as:
“My practice explores femininity, memory, and transformation, using layers, forms, and objects to capture intimacy, fragility, and resilience.”

We’re super glad to have her artwork narrate the story of our podcast set in season one (The Forbidden Fruit) and season two.

To Mama🧡

These meals were very small tiny gestures in a journey so much bigger than I could touch. The past seven months didn’t feel real. I didn’t know how to be there for you, I was scared, but I guess the love was bigger, and it got me up every day, bcz all I ever want for you is to feel well, to be well. I’m still learning how to show up better but this was probably the only way I knew how.
Watching you go through this was so hard. Seeing you in pain, carrying so much every day broke me. But I’m forever in awe of you 🧿 your strength despite everything despite the filthy chemo, your persistence and the way you kept pushing even when it felt so fucking hard..
I’m forever grateful for you. I pray you always feel loved. I pray you feel stronger gentler with yourself, and more at peace in your body <3 i love you by @dossarina
