Wow Athens you rock! The city, people, culture and offcourse @metallica blew me away. So great and blessed to be able to see a band that has been on my bucket list play the epic anthems of my youth. Glad we were there along with 90000 others #metallica #one #entersandman #whereverimayroam #nothingelsematters by @dotrun_uk

Spring has sprung in Edinburgh but it's still all about wearing layers. Btw since when did this tool become so unintuitive, since I hardly post anything these days I couldn't work out how to post something and I work in digital! There's too much going on now with my account I just find it all a bit much. Anyone else feeling the same? #springhassprung #springinedinburgh #rhododendrons @rbgedinburgh #jetstream #starbankpark by @dotrun_uk

Happy #worldbookday2026📚🌎 I hadn't realised it was #worldbookday and serendipitously stumbled into it at my local library who were selling books for 50p which seemed a bargain too good to miss. I love local libraries, they are fundamental for providing safe places that nurture and encourage reading for everyone that happens to live, work, study or play in their vicinity. They do not discriminate, are a great leveller, and provide a wealth of other resources. My local one even sells handmade cards. This is why we should cherish them and use them and fight tooth and nail to keep them open. #longlivelocallibraries #locallibrary #supportyourlocallibrary Shout out to my local library in Currie. by @dotrun_uk

@airfrenchband were fantastic, cool and their set and lighting design were on point and some of the most considered and effective I've seen. The sound quality was great too and i loved the fact they managed to play the leading track from the 'Virgin Suicides' album. Bravo to the @fringebythesea for having them headline Saturday night. I was also a newbie to this festival and was thoroughly impressed with the set up and the entertainment, food and drink on offer. If you get the chance to catch it and want a change of scene from the madness of the Edinburgh festivals go and see it for yourself. #festival #festivalseason #summer festival @airfrenchband by @dotrun_uk

Amazing time last week @wembleystadium watching the @lionesses play Spain. Such an amazing stadium - I’m so impressed with the service design - and a great win! by @dotrun_uk

Please donate if you can to this paediatrician, who along with other health professionals having been displaced due to the genocide/war in Gaza, has set up a clinic to help the most vulnerable in their time of need. #STOPISRAELIWARCRIMES #stopthewar #FreePalestine https://gofund.me/e10e164b by @dotrun_uk

Finally got round to packing up the #christmasdecorations Resisted the urge to keep them up 'til February and candle mass. #candlemaas It's probably appropriate that I store them away now considering it's the bard's night.
