BREAKING NEWS: ALDI HAS LOST ITS DOG!

Well, well, well… it seems @aldiuk has a little problem, and it's not a shortage of middle-aisle bargains!

Their beloved CAULI-DOG has gone missing! 😳 he’s hoping it’s microchipped 😉

And who's stepping up to the plate? (Or should that be the dinner bowl)
DOGS ON THE STREETS ARE ON A MISSION!

We're launching a full-scale search operation to track down this little cauliflower cutie and reunite Aldi with their missing member of staff… although we're not entirely convinced he's been on the payroll!

Description: Fluffy white exterior🐾 Four little paws❤️ Friendly nature🧀 Slightly nervous around cheese (which could make a Sunday roast particularly awkward!)

ALDI, DON'T PANIC… DOGS ON THE STREETS HAVE GOT THIS!
We'll be pounding the pavements, sniffing out clues and checking every supermarket aisle until Cauli-Dog is found.
And if he's hiding under a blanket of cheese sauce, we'll still find him. NO FLORET LEFT BEHIND!

Come on everyone, let's get behind the search and help Aldi find their missing Cauli-Dog!

SHARE FAR AND WIDE – THIS LITTLE FLORET NEEDS to be found 🙏

@aldiuk we expect a full update on this missing member of the veg family! 👀

🎃👻 NO TRICKS, JUST TREATS! 🐾🧡

This Halloween, why not swap the sweets for something that really makes a difference?

Instead of treats for yourself, how about treating a dog in need?

A little £1 donation to Dogs on the Streets could go towards helping provide food, care and support to dogs belonging to people experiencing homelessness & vulnerability.

It might only be the price of a sweet or a chocolate bar to you, but it could mean so much to a dog who needs it.

So this Halloween, let's make a little magic happen.
🎃 No tricks, just treats.🐾 £1 can make a difference.🧡 Donate £1 and help us help dogs on the streets.

Every pound counts, every donation matters, and every dog deserves a treat! 🧡

We’ve just made an order today for veterinary drugs for our furry clients at the Sanctuary but also for our Strand station next week.

Any help towards the cost would be greatly appreciative.
We have quite a lot of poorly dogs on the Sanctuary that came into us in bad health that we are trying to support, but we also have Dogs that we need to continue medication on strand station. 🙏

110 mile round trip and mr B is safely in our foster care after his Owner was taken to hospital in need of urgent medical care. He’s Owner is 92 years old and he was so worried about leaving his dog but he was reassured Mr B will be cared for to the highest level. We look forward to reuniting them again soon.

Mr. B Owner had originally refused to go into hospital until the paramedics assured him that we as a charity would take care of Mr. B who is 13 years old 🧡 by @dotslondon

URGENT…

Is anyone missing the Dog pictured below. Found at Leytonstone train station last night.

Vets refused to take the dog. The Dog Warden refused to take the dog. The dog is safe but we desperately need to find the Owner unfortunately is not microchipped

🐾❤️ FIDDLE UPDATE – SOME GOOD NEWS AT LAST! ❤️🐾

After a very busy week, as usual, we wanted to give you all an update on Fiddle, the beautiful dog who was involved in a road traffic accident a few weeks ago.

We are so pleased to let you know that Fiddle has now left the veterinary hospital and is back at our sanctuary, where we are continuing her aftercare.

Fiddle has suffered a broken pelvis, along with quite a number of internal and external injuries. She is still not out of the woods, and there is a long road to recovery ahead of her, but we are encouraged by the fact that her tail is wagging!
She is currently in our medical block, receiving round-the-clock care and lots of love from our team.

On Monday, we will be taking her back to the vets to have her stitches removed. Providing all goes well, she will then return to her owner to continue her strict rest and aftercare.
There are still many veterinary appointments ahead of us, and further surgery may be necessary, so we will continue to take things one day at a time and do everything we can to help Fiddle recover.

And now, we need to say a very heartfelt THANK YOU. ❤️🙏

It was through your incredible kindness and generosity with donations that we were able to cover the cost of Fiddle’s treatment so far. Without your support, she simply would not have had the chance she has today.
Every donation, every share and every kind message has meant so much to us.

When emergencies like Fiddle’s happen, your support makes all the difference between being able to help and having to turn away.

We still have a way to go, but for now, we are just so grateful that Fiddle is back with us, safe in our medical block and receiving the care she desperately needs.

From all of us at Dogs on the Streets, thank you for caring, thank you for giving, and thank you for helping us give Fiddle a chance. 🧡

We would also like to send out a huge thank you to @oakvets who took over the wonderful care of fiddle and they have been absolutely amazing saving her, the whole team at the practice from reception to vets were phenomenal 🙏

🎆 The sky lights up. The bangs begin. And for some dogs, the fear is very real. 💔🐶
What sounds like a celebration to us can feel terrifying to a dog.
Fireworks can trigger panic, trembling, hiding, barking and desperate attempts to escape. For dogs already facing uncertainty, homelessness or a lack of security, this time of year can be especially challenging.

💛 Walk your dog before dark.
🏡 Where possible, keep them indoors with windows and curtains closed. This means don't take them trick-or-treating!
🎵 Put on familiar music or TV to help mask the noise.
🐾 Never leave a frightened dog alone outside.

This Bonfire Night, let's remember the animals who don't understand the celebrations.
Can you help Dogs on the Streets support dogs in need?
Every donation, no matter how small, can help us continue our work supporting vulnerable dogs and their owners.
🎁 Donate, share this post or tag someone who needs this reminder.

Would like to say huge thank you to Lucy at @barkalotpetservices who’s so very kindly gave one of our Sanctuary Dogs a free groom and spruce up. It really does make a difference to the Dogs when they need grooming and it’s such a pleasure and we are so thankful that Lucy volunteered her time to do this. by @dotslondon

Meet Kira one of the biggest cuddlers you’ll ever have the pleasure of Kira is looking for a new Home.
She’s currently in our care due to circumstances that the Owner is no longer able to care for her.
Have you a space for her? by @dotslondon
