This was one of her fave days of her young life lol.. Her first Siva Showcase riding solo with no siblings. A nice high before her hospital stay starting tomorrow! Special shout out to our Beautiful Brisbane Director Miss Sana & her team! My Type 1 darling was well looked after, the comms between the staff and I for her insulin & bgl levels yesterday was TOP NOTCH! 🙌🏽 Thank you Sana & team for working tirelessly, investing your beautiful craft, talent and love into our kids!! ❤️

This little device reps so much more than just a @dexcom ! It represents the reality of living with Type 1 diabetes. The coooonstant checking, the alarms popping off, the numbers, the highs, the lows & the worry that irks my nervous system
but most importantly, it represents her strength. 🙌🏽 my poor baby!
Being a carer is fricken hard. Being a mum, raising kids, running a business AND managing everything else life throws at me while carrying the constant mental load of this girls health is bloody exhausting 😩I’m tired. Liiike really tired, so much so I consented to counselling today & I ain’t even ashamed of it! Type 1 affects the whole family. The kiddo wearing the CGM, but also the people behind the scenes caring, worrying & carrying the mental load 🤯 I love you my Kenzie girl 😘
