#freedomofthepress ✍🏻 🪽A payphone — considered obsolete — still rings nearby. Once an integral part of #streetculture , now a sonic nostalgia.

Consumers of an underground literary scene leaf through the thin, self-published pages of a #zine

The titles #shapeshift in fonts as you skim graphic novels, quarterlies, and oddly stapled-together publications.

Pen names: each thoughtfully selected — authors whose faces you may never know.

📞🎞️📽️

The payphone rings once more, as if to plead,
“remember me…?”

You might ignore the call — denying the power of your own rhetoric. Your words may bite the dust and exist in no memory.

But you may answer the call one day— sharing words and thoughts that will live infinitely. Colors will jump.

When I’m reminded of #Paris 🇫🇷 I think of its timeless #beauty I think of cream stone, a tiny oval window in #Haussmann architecture. Buren’s black & white striped #awnings comfort the boulevards — capturing every moment of street life like celluloid film. A cinematic history before your eyes invites you with soft, true charm— the definition of a French kiss.

A young man sits on the window sill of a bistro. He smiles, and knows the sound of Paris’ 6th arrondissement as the cafes enter their third and final act of the night. The streetlights blend into the French dusk. 🪽 by @double.dared
