Working with an interior designer photographing interiors

Sometimes I get the absolute privilege of working with interior designers when doing interior photos. They know the space inside and out and know how they'd like it represented. We collaborate on choosing the best view and then work on styling the space to look its best from that viewpoint. It's a lot of back and forth looking at the computer and moving in and out of the set tweaking things. Even though we're working side by side, there's not a lot of talking once we get going and we work quickly. I'm working on photography tweaks like camera height, lens selection, lighting, etc. They're working on positioning of elements and styling tweaks. We give each other suggestions as needed, review together, and shoot when we're both happy. Then we tweak again and shoot some more.
