Philly treated me so good I extended the stay.

First Roots Picnic and it will not be the last. Hosting backstage interviews with @rootspicnic and @doubletapdemocracy gave me a front row seat to some amazing talent from Philly and beyond.

Seeing so many of my people in one place was the true highlight. The city felt like home.

Next stop? CultureCon Cafe Philadelphia, it’s only right 🫂

Some stories you only read about. This time, we got to hear from the woman who lived it. 📖

Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton is a fierce defender of women and families, and now she’s empowering the next generation of trusted messengers. On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, our ballots do the talking. 🗳️

Endless thanks to @HillaryClinton and the @ClintonFoundation team, to @haleylickstein and @your.richbff for moderating, to @bibliothequenyc for setting the scene, to @creatingwithjade for the gorgeous art, and to every creator who uses their platform for good. 🩷 taken in Bibliotheque by @doubletapdemocracy

hard launch💕

Such an iconic night meeting @hillaryclinton and hearing her speak to a group of incredible women about our role and power in this important upcoming election. (Vote! duh) It was inspiring, motivating, and u guys… I made her laugh😎

I also told her that my grandma was a huge fan and had a framed photo of her (just her) on her night table next to her grandchildren. So I guess that makes us cousins? When my grandma really started to lose her memory in 2016, I’m pretty sure most days she thought Hillary won. Silver lining!!

Thank you @doubletapdemocracy for such a cool night & for all the work you do!👏👏👏 by @doubletapdemocracy

Last night was one for the books 💫

In a packed room of women creators and advocates in NYC, Secretary Hillary Clinton recounted the poem that inspired her historic 1995 Beijing speech on women’s rights, written by a young schoolgirl she met in India:

“Too many women in too many countries speak the same language of silence.”

More than 30 years later, she’s still showing up and empowering the next generation of women to keep speaking up: creators like you 🫶

It was a beautiful night of intimate stories, laughter, and tears, with renewed fortitude to use our voices to inspire action, online and off.

Our forever gratitude to @HillaryClinton and the incredible team at the @ClintonFoundation; @haleylickstein and @your.richbff for leading the conversation; @bibliothequenyc for hosting us; @creatingwithjade for beautiful designs; and every pro-democracy creator in the room who shared their stories.

Your voice is civic power. Use it 🗳️ Vote by Tuesday, November 3.

Stay tuned for more events and conversations! taken in Bibliotheque by @doubletapdemocracy

Yesterday I had the absolute privilege of introducing @hillaryclinton and moderating a conversation with her alongside @your.richbff on the importance of this moment and the role of women’s voices in the fight for democracy.

It’s hard to articulate how grateful I am not only for the opportunity but to be surrounded by a room of women who are an absolute force and who I have the honor of calling friends. None of this would have been possible without @doubletapdemocracy and their incredible team who put this event together.

Feeling filled to the absolute brim and ready for the fight the next 25 days has in store. by @doubletapdemocracy
