Dubai - 65 Seven Sisters Road, N7 6BH

Dubai the popular shawarma restaurant in North London has officially reopened its doors following a major fire that destroyed its original premises just seven months after launch.

The blaze, which took place in 2025, prompted a large emergency response, with around 100 firefighters deployed to bring the situation under control. The ground floor restaurant was completely destroyed, and the collapse of part of the roof caused additional damage to flats on the first and second floors. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.

Now, in 2026, Dubai Shawarma has made a return reopening at 65 Seven Sisters Road, N7 6BH, just a short distance from its former location. The new site features a larger, corner positioned space, offering both dine in seating and takeaway service.

The restaurant has resumed serving its signature freshly prepared dishes, aiming to rebuild its presence in the local food scene and welcome back customers who supported it from the beginning.

Residents and visitors alike are already returning to the new location, marking a strong comeback for what had quickly become a neighbourhood favourite. by @doubletuvision
