This photo is from one of the last events that @kellyslater competed in at Supertubes. The timing and positioning of the seagull is purely old-school luck. He’s kept my generation inspired by competing into his 50s, but I think he’s finally started real life by getting married and starting a family. Nothing impresses me more than a man who keeps his marriage vows and raises his children to one day do the same. by @dougalpaterson

@selah.surf !!! For more than a decade my “Swiss-Son” Luki has been pouring his life into teaching girls and boys to swim, surf, tell the truth, say sorry and pray. Yesterday I got to watch @rickwallfilms @satorifilm with some of his current crew and talk story about wipe outs and riding big waves. Rick and I toured the movie around the UK and Scotland in 2019 with @finisterre . It was great to watch it again. When all was said and done the Selah crew made a circle and prayed for me 🥹🥹🙌!! by @dougalpaterson
