YOU could be the next Miss Canyon Hills Meet Malia Walker, Miss Canyon Hills 2026! For Malia, it all started with falling in love with live theatre at just eight years old. Growing up in California’s Central Valley, she also saw firsthand how difficult it could be for students in rural communities to access quality arts education. That experience eventually became Share the Stage, her Community Service Initiative bringing theatre education and opportunities to underserved, low-income, and geographically isolated communities. Today, Malia is studying Drama with a minor in Digital Arts at @ucirvine while pursuing her dream of someday performing on Broadway. And, of course, she brought that love of musical theatre to the Miss PYL stage! Her performance of “Show Off” from The Drowsy Chaperone helped her earn the opportunity to represent our program at Miss California, where she received a Preliminary Talent Award and placed in the Top 12. Miss PYL gave Malia another stage for something she already loved—and another way to use it to serve others. What passion would you bring to the stage? YOU could be the next Miss Yorba Linda! Meet Brenna Manzo, Miss Yorba Linda 2026! Brenna is no stranger to the Miss PYL family. She first joined our organization as Miss Yorba Hills’ Teen 2024 and chose to come back as a Miss candidate. Today, Brenna is studying Political Science at Mt. San Antonio College (@mtsac) with plans to transfer to a four-year university, earn her Juris Doctor, and become a criminal prosecutor, advocating for justice and giving a voice to those who need it most. She has also been dancing for 12 years and is now a member of @mt.sacdanceteam, with hopes of someday sharing that passion as a dance teacher. As Miss Yorba Linda, Brenna has turned another passion into community impact through Emergency Preparedness, her Community Service Initiative encouraging families to build emergency kits, become CPR certified, and participate in CERT training. From Miss Yorba Hills’ Teen 2024 to Miss Yorba Linda 2026, Brenna’s journey shows that earning a title doesn’t have to be the end of your Miss PYL story. Sometimes, it’s only the beginning.
