These fermented habanero hot sauce and peach glazed smoked wings are my favorite we have ever done. Sweet. Hot 🥵 And full of love. PAIRED WITH A @whitneyburnside FRESH HOP IPA are the meanest pairing in town.

Epic night at @thebitterrootclub , thank you @meilin21 @andrewskala for gracing us with your talent, professionalism and skills. Everytime I cook with Mei - I learn so much, and have so much fun. It was truly and honor. Thanks for trusting me to host you - I don't take it lightly and I never will. ❤️

Several highlights I'll never forget- the absolute silence of the room when Mei's shrimp toast hit the table and people took the first bite 🤯, @ajmccafferty getting to showcase his brilliance with the wine pairings on this one even more than normal, AND HAVING THE 👸 OF SWEETS in the house @kirjensen and our members and guests getting to put a face to match with the love they've enjoyed since day one when ending a meal in our spot. And of course there's no way to end a good night of cooking then with a cold beer and @whitneyburnside makes the best in the world right down the hall at @grandfirbrewing

Happy Bithday @whitneyburnside .. so many people's lives are better with you in them. Mine more than anyone. I love you. We're all so lucky to have you !!! What you've created at grand fir is just crazy... you're a true artisan and you deserve every ounce of respect from both your peers and admirers in your craft. You're the best mom and wife ever. Hope the bottling for GABF is going well! by @dougiepdx

If you've been to Grand Fir, you've either met Wendy, or you've enjoyed her work in the front of house. She's done so much for Grand Fir, and she's gotta kick some ass in the next few weeks. We as a company are going to support her thru this on our end cause that's what we do, but as we all know experiencing something like this takes a toll so we are asking for some extra help from the community. Please consider helping one of the hardest working and special people in the pdx food and beverage community! Thank you! 🙏 LINK IN MY BIO and STORIES by @dougiepdx
