Had an impromptu alumni section at the Somerset at Johnstown football game this past Friday. Great chatting with everyone….. and a great result as the Trojans got the W! (Sorry Brian Bell , yinz left before we took the pic!).

To Tony Penna Jr. and the boys, keep grinding! #gotrojans #trojanpride #prideandtradition #trojanpower #fridaynightlights #wearejohnstown

Coming soon, a very special episode of Coffee with Coaches with the incomparable Melissa Metzgar Thomas! Missy and I talk about growing up in Johnstown, the reasons she got into both volleyball and running (which might not be what you think) and her career teaching as well as coaching and directing in both sports. Missy’s story is inspirational and she’s a true role model to all girls out there. I’m proud to call her a friend and thankful she agreed to be on the show, being the first of hopefully many female guests!

Links should be live around midnight!

Shoutout to the kids in Williamsport. The LLWS has been really fun to watch this year. I’m assuming this all-star uni of mine was inspired by the mid 80s White Sox “beach blanket” look. by @dougkeklak

The whole Pirates’ brick fiasco had me wondering if my brick was still in the ground outside of Point Stadium in Johnstown. And lo and behold there it is! It was a high school graduation gift. So it’s over 30 years old. I don’t know if they ever replaced these or touched them up but it was a pleasant surprise to see it! ⚾️🏈🧱🏟️ taken in Point Stadium by @dougkeklak
