Kind of surreal to see your name on @ESPN, which it was today for me for the very first time, as the video I posted of Malik Nabers talking about the Giants quarterback situation the other day was not only shown on the @getupespn, but lead to an entire discussion and segment on there too.

Thank you to those who let me know that it was on there, very much appreciated.

Happy 9th Birthday to Peyton, my very sweet girl who is 9 going on 17, but will still give the best hugs and will always want to cuddle up with me and reach out for my hand.

Watching you be a big sister to Emma and Zach and showing them how much love you show to them is incredible. Watching you grow up into a the caring and sweet person you’ve been has also been amazing. People tell me all the time how you, plus Carson, are well mannered and so polite and kind. And I love that.

Happy 1st Birthday to Zachary; our happy little guy who has brought so much joy and happiness over the last year and completes our happy family.

Our little guy who loves cuddles, chewing on everything, watching WWE and Bubble Guppies, playing with all of his toys and exploring eating all new kinds of foods, especially pickles.

We all love you so much and can’t wait to watch you grow into a sweet loving boy who’s ready to take on the world!

From over the weekend: Zachary’s 1st birthday party. He officially turns 1 in less than 24 hours.

It rained for a good part of it, but he had a blast being surrounded by friends and family and was showered with lots of love. by @dougrush

Zach’s first @nyknicks shirt. He absolutely loves it.

They do have an NBA Championship onesie in his size on @fanatics. Might have to get him one for his birthday since the Knicks were the first NBA team he saw win a championship.

Although I can only imagine my dad seeing it and going, “should have gotten him a Celtics one or a Larry Bird one.” 😂 by @dougrush

Father’s Day has always been one of those bitter-sweet days for me.

I’m always blessed to spend it with my children, but there’s always a part of this day that’s missing something, and in particular, an important someone.

There’s not a day that goes by where I wish he were here. Especially this past week, with the Knicks ending their 53-year championship drought, I even said it to my mom this weekend, “I really wonder what dad would have thought about this?” Because my dad loved basketball and was a big reason for me liking it. I still vividly remember sitting on the floor of my old Beachwood house watching the NBA Finals with him and watching the Bulls and Michael Jordan beat the Blazers and Suns. I also still remember my parents trying to explain to me the OJ Simpson chase during the 1994 NBA Finals that kept cutting through the game between the Knicks and Rockets.

But most of all, I really wish he were here to get the experience of being a grandfather for the grandchildren who would have absolutely loved him.

Happy 4th Birthday to Emma; our very happy, silly, still tiny but extremely mighty, sweet and sassy, fearless little daredevil… who always wants a snack, a stuffed animal, her tablet and a blanket.

You are loved so much by everyone and you continue to amaze us everyday, especially with how great of a big sister you are and have been over the last year.
