Look! Our very own David Fullarton journeyed down from San Francisco last weekend to check out our summer exhibition and pose for a photo in front of his work. The show will be up for one more week, folks! Come see it till September 20th on the Last Bookstore mezzanine gallery. @hughjanus @vakseen @stephenholmanart @margaretdean9381 @harveywallflower66 by @dovebiscuit

The best part of selling art has never been the sale.

For me, it’s always been the connection💎

It’s someone discovering my work for the first time and feeling something. Connecting with the art. Connecting with me. Connecting with the things that inspire me, move me, and give me life.

That will always mean more than a transaction.

Moments like this remind me that once I put the work into the world, it takes on a life far beyond me. It becomes part of someone else’s story, memory, home, or experience.

And that’s why putting it out into the world matters so much.🔑

Truly grateful to continue sharing my Legends Only series with @dovebiscuit at @lastbookstorela 🙏🏾, and even more grateful for every person who has stopped, connected, shared a story, or taken a piece home. 🥰

My current mezzanine feature with Dove Biscuit is up through September 20th👀

We’ve just added 4 beautiful, limited edition, silkscreen prints by British artist Karen Radford to our gallery walls. Karen is based in Whitstable in England, attended the Royal College of Art and currently has prints on display at the Royal Academy Summer Show in London. Swing by this weekend and take a look. We will be open Friday afternoon, then throughout the Labor day extended weekend. @karenradfordart @lastbookstorela @dovebiscuit #abstractart #silkscreen #dtlaartsdistrict #losangelesart by @dovebiscuit

We’re proud to be exhibiting artist Marge Dean’s latest works in our AI-FU show. Parodying, revising and reinventing male-dominated art history, her jello-mold masterpieces by “D.Smith” are reimaginings of abstract expressionist David Smith’s more macho oeuvre. Contact us to purchase or for more information. The exhibition is up till September 20th. #margedean @dovebiscuit #lastbookstore #dtlaartsdistrict @margaretdean9381 #jello #jelloart by @dovebiscuit
