It’s AUSTRALIAN MADE WEEK, celebrating makers and growers around our bloody awesome country.

Since 1928 when Bill Downey designed and made his innovative rabbit trap, then drove around the Australian countryside during the Great Depression selling them to hardware stores, we've been innovating and manufacturing gate and fence hardware built to last.

Downee is still proudly 100% Australian owned and operated.
