POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This account is conducted by a Wake Forest fan of three years. I watched my first WF game with my dad against NJIT and have been in love with the program ever since. This account will mainly focus on basketball and football, but other aspects of the program may receive coverage.

There may be the occasional post about the Winston-Salem area as well. I am not a student, but I love the area.

ADD EM UP, THE DEACS ARE AT #21

Wake Forest took care of business by packing up the wolfpack with a game defining 28 unanswered points in the second half. Jack Foley was arguably the player of the game and kept making great catches from Gio Lopez, who continues to shine for Wake.

The pundits behind the AP poll finally gave us some credit, marking the Deacs as the #21 team in the nation. Coaches poll put us at #23, but I pick to acknowledge the better ranking.

What's important now is that we still put in the gritty work. The Deacs are built in the dark but now they're getting some light. Next match up is against a Cal team that just toppled a really solid Virginia Tech squad. Proud of our guys and, of course...

Yeah uh Georgetown hit a lot of threes and just played imposing and physically the entire game. Exhibition game so it doesn't count and season has yet to start.

Also, unrelated, but how are we not ranked in football???

What's one tree compared to the whole forest?

Deacs dominate with a 57-3 win against a Stanford offense that just couldn't get it humming. Gio Lopez is looking 100% and had a lot of great rushes. We did a fantastic job with reducing penalties and showed greatness from start to finish.

Deacs go cardinal hunting! What a game man, beyond proud of the team. Ranked team on the road and we come out with a win. Cardiac Calvert was an absolute hero, and those field goals ultimately won us the game.

Nothing else really to say, 30-27, and as always,

Obviously a win would have been nicer, but I'm proud about how Wake Forest showed up. Lot of loud Miami fans but Wake showed up and responded in kind. Some disagreeable calls were made, but every sports fan ever says that after their team loses. Proud of the team for playing hard and making a ranked Miami team sweat.

Had a fantastic time talking with @the_coachcoop about the game against Miami on Friday. First time repping the Deacs on an interview and it was a great talk. He was extremely hospitable and polite throughout the discussion.

Excited to see all the Wake fans wearing black at Allegacy tomorrow! We gotta have that place booming for our players tomorrow. One last time before tomorrow, it's all about the W!

Friday night, let's make it all about the W and not the U. Canes fans are expecting to overrun Allegacy and only we can prevent that. I'll be showing out and I hope every other Deacon fan does as well. Wear black, be bold, and withstand the storm! Football isn't played on paper and we'll have 60 minutes to try and shock the world. Don't let Allegacy be filled with green and orange!

Found myself a good luck charm for the rest of the football season at a little market I visited. Wishing the Deacs the best of luck when they visit Purdue and I'm getting excited for that Miami game. Our team does good as underdogs and I don't think the Canes will see us coming. A thank you to the Notre Dame fan I bought this from, still won't ever take up for the Irish.

I'm excited to start posting more as the football season starts and basketball looms closer. I appreciate the little following I've managed to build up and the rest of the WF fan base that has welcomed me with open arms. Loving being a WF fan and can't wait to see us do great things.

Deacs got off to a great start on the season with a 38-16 win over the Zips. I loved the way our defense looked, as always. Gio Lopez looked great and connected on some fantastic passes. Hernandez is great as always. A great all around performance by Wake Forest that has me excited for the season.

Open practice was a lot of fun. The guys looked like they really wanted to compete and were playing with a lot of energy. I'm proud of all the fans who showed out. Also, shoutout to Efton Reid for stopping by for a photo.

As always,

New squad is loading! Still a few roster spots left, but the main moves have been made. I'm personally really liking the roster right now, we've got size, shooting, and guys who could really break out as stars in the ACC. Looking forward to see these guys play ball later in the year!
