V4 of the cam car is now complete, and ready for whatever V5 may bring. 🤣 I cant stop improving this little thing and it keeps rocking my socks with every new change I make to it. The shots I was getting with V3 were coming out good, but I still want better. So I added an fpv system in, and what a world of difference that made! Now I can keep it LOCKED onto cars through their drifts, and my mind is buzzing with all the other places this could be used.

The camera car has already gone thru many changes. The latest of which being these "Body Post Delete Posts" I made from scratch which allow me to retain the foam bumper whilst still removing the protruding body posts that were up front. The reason for doing this was because I wanted to run the Hero8 as the rear facing cam because it gets the better footage between that and the Session and because the rear facing follow shots were the better shots between following and chasing. I keep getting more and more happy with the results of this cam car, hopefully that pattern continues with this latest change. Its great for filming rc drifting but I really want to take it to the lot one of these days and see what it can do out there. taken in Colorado Springs, Colorado by @downlowfpv

My #SlammedIcarus build is finally as done as possible without the top plate being cut in carbon. Total redesign of the way the frame is intended to be built and it came out absolutely STUNNING if you ask me. Id like to continue development on this frame to incorporate naked gopros in the future. If youd like to build yourself one of these, I am trying to find anyone to cut these plates out of carbon for them. Until those come, this pro pla holds up to crashes but i am a little concerned about heat distortion from this TBS unify nano vtx i just put in tho. Its plastic. And heat melts plastic. Plus the carbon is the heatsink that the vtx needs anyway. But it flies so incredibly.
