This September, Moments. Gallery is proud to partner with the @ndssorg for a special exhibition celebrating international artists with Down syndrome.

Co hosted by travel photographer @houstonvandergriff Assume I Can brings together artists from around the world to spotlight their work, creativity and individual perspectives, while supporting NDSS and its mission to create a world where individuals with Down syndrome thrive.

The exhibition will feature both digital and physical artwork throughout Moments. Gallery at @dreamdowntown

September 11, 2026 Opening Day of Assume I Can at Moments. Gallery

A day that celebrated what becomes possible when we look beyond assumptions and simply see the artist.

More than 50 artists from 19 countries and over 200 works of art came together for one of the largest exhibitions celebrating artists with Down Syndrome.

At the heart of Assume I Can is a simple mission: to challenge assumptions, create greater visibility for these artists, and celebrate their work for exactly what it is - art worth seeing, experiencing, and collecting.

A very special thank you to our co-host @downsandtowns whose photography, story, and advocacy helped inspire so much of what this exhibition represents.

Thank you to the @ndssorg for partnering with us to bring this vision to life, and to everyone who joined us, supported the artists, purchased work, and helped make this day so special.

Available works can be collected through the link in bio.

Every purchase directly supports the artist, with a portion of proceeds also donated to the National Down Syndrome Society.

همکاری من و مزدک، و حضور در کنار دیگر هنرمندان عزیز سندروم داون، تجربه‌ای بود که هرگز فراموش نمی‌کنم. این آثار، حاصل عشقِ مشترک ما و حسِ عمیقی است که در هر خط و رنگ جاری است.
‌
از هیوستون عزیز که با دعوت گرم‌شان از ما و هنرِ ما حمایت کردند، بی‌نهایت سپاسگزارم.
و از مدیریت محترم گالری مومنت، سرکار خانم واسیا، که با ظرافت و عشق، بستر این نمایشگاه زیبا را فراهم کردند، صمیمانه قدردانی می‌کنم.

With a heart full of gratitude, I recall the beautiful moments of our group exhibition at @moments_gallery_nyc .

My collaboration with MAZDAK, alongside the other dear Down syndrome artists, was an experience I will never forget. These artworks are the result of our shared love and the deep emotion flowing through every line and color.
