The time I opened for Lou Barlow at Crown & Thieves was special for many reasons. I typically don’t play acoustic shows, but I whipped my hair anyways.

Were you at this show??

This part in our song “Douse” always has the most sing alongs!

Also - dance it out. That’s all you need.

Down The Lees are The LIZARD’s Rockers of the Month

Laura Lee Schultz fronts the band and is the main creative presence with Andy Ashley on drums and Chris Carlson on bass.

As The LIZARD’s Rockers of the Month, the band has an interview on the morning radio show, airplay for their song, Douse, and this video here on Kelowna10.

The band is very proud to have secured Creative BC funding recently for a professional video production of their gig at Mary Irwin Theatre, called This Is What It Feels Like. #kelowna #okanagan #rockband by @downthelees

Look ma, we’re on the radio! Down The Lees is The Lizard 104.7 Rocker of the Month! Andy and I met with Ryan and Sarah of the morning show and talked about the 90s, cassettes and our song Douse, which will get daily plays for the month of October.

Thanks for spinning us @1047thelizard!

Happy anniversary Chris and Andy!

I’ve had this project for many, many years. It existed in Vancouver as a solo recording project, grew to live band with Kwinny and Jonathan in Belgium, and now the current lineup with Chris and Andy in the Okanagan.

Our first show together was 4 years ago on Sept 22 at Dunnenzies Mission with our friends in @hyaenasband (who just released an album!). Who was at this show???

Who woulda thunk we would be tearing up stages all over the place, releasing 2 albums AND a concert film (WTF) 4 years later. Here’s to 4 more guys! See ya at practice. by @downthelees

Hey there! We’re Down The Lees.

We like long walks on the beach, loud guitars, and human decency.

What are you into?

#noiserock #postrock by @downthelees

Hey humans - let’s be humans and use our fingers and toes to be around each other eating and drinking and dancing and being human.

Our next show is on Oct 3 in Kamloops.
Write it down it your notebooks and highlight it with a pink highlighter.

Kami. Let’s get Kami. by @downthelees
