When Carolina Wren Park was renovated in 2013, our vision was simple: to create a place for community. A place for music, laughter, memories, and joy.

More than a decade later, we’ve watched that vision come to life in ways we could have only imagined. From concerts and celebrations to quiet afternoons and everyday moments, this little corner of Downtown Anderson has become a place where so many memories are made.

Knowing that you love it as much as we do makes it even sweeter.

We’re honored that Carolina Wren Park was named Best Live Music/Concert Venue in the Independent Mail’s 2026 Best of Your Hometown Community’s Choice Awards!

For this edition of Club Andy Plays, we got our hands dirty at City Seed at the Station. 🌱

We joined Donna for her Succulent Pumpkin class, a fall favorite she’s been teaching since 2014. No carving or mess, just pumpkins, moss, succulents, and some sweet treats.

City Seed has more than classes, too. Stop by for houseplants, succulents, pots, gifts, and more, or check out their calendar for upcoming classes and events for adults and kids.

If you like plants and getting creative, City Seed worth the visit!

What a day on Main Street!

Anderson County’s 200th birthday celebration was one for the books, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make this afternoon so special.

To every parade participant who brought their creativity, energy and community spirit to the route, to the families and friends who lined Main Street, and to everyone who came out to celebrate—thank you for making Downtown Anderson the place to be.

For 200 years, Anderson County has been shaped by the people who live, work and gather here. Yesterday was a beautiful reminder that the best part of our history is the people who continue to write it.

Something delicious is coming to Downtown Anderson at 522 N. Main Street!

Construction is officially underway for PF Meat Co. Butchery & Market, and we can’t wait to welcome this new neighborhood butcher shop and market to the @cityofanderson.

PF Meat Co. will bring exceptional meats, house-made smoked goods, thoughtfully chosen provisions, house-roasted coffee, grab-and-go favorites and more to Downtown Anderson—all built around better food and shopping with purpose.

Purpose Driven. Farmer Approved.

We’ll be watching this one take shape and counting down to their anticipated March 2027 opening.
