🦄🎬 UNICORN (working title) is officially in production!

Filming has begun in Paris, Barcelona, and Berlin for UNICORN: Breaking the Law Is Our Business, our new investigative documentary directed by Kelly Nyks.

The film explores how some of the world’s most powerful tech platforms have challenged regulations to build global monopolies—and how cities like Barcelona have become leading examples of resistance in defending the public interest.

🌍 At Polar Star Films, we believe that how we make films matters just as much as what we make them about. Continuing the approach behind films like Freightened and Only on Earth, the production of UNICORN is being developed with sustainability at its core.

We’re proud to once again collaborate with K is for Knowledge, prioritising train travel whenever possible, working with local crews in every filming location, and choosing environmentally certified accommodation to reduce the production’s footprint.

Produced by Polar Star Films in co-production with Eikon (Germany) and @doxyfixy (The Netherlands), UNICORN is a story about power, accountability, and the future of our cities.

More updates coming soon! 🚆🌱
