The Unlimited Festival just finished today, and what a week it has been.
Between snow, cold, wind, and sun, the mountains delivered everything they had.
So tired, but very happy at the same time.
Thanks to my team for the support and help throughout the week, making it possible to create, capture memories, and highlight the artists who played in Chamonix.
Looking forward to sharing the photos, videos, and all the moments we captured.

This year, I decided to switch to Sony instead of my Leica and Hasselblad. It turned out to be a solid choice, as the autofocus helped me capture many moments that I might have missed with the Hasselblad or the Leica. I’m looking forward to showing you the photos.

Blue hour over the Aiguille du Midi ridge.

The glacier is heavily opened after the summer heat, with crevasses running across the ridge. One last flight above the ice as the light disappears.

This flight had been on my mind for a long time.

Cloud surfing above Chamonix, followed by a gap between the Aiguille Verte and the Drus. Rare conditions, a lot of preparation… and a few minutes that felt like being somewhere else.

I hope you’ll enjoy the journey.

It’s autumn in Chamonix, and a light dusting of snow covers the surrounding summits. I think we can all agree that it’s the most beautiful season to enjoy the mountains.

It took me ten years to bring this idea to life. Obviously, I wasn’t working on it every day, but it was always in the back of my mind. For ten years, I kept trying to move it forward, to find someone who could help me make it happen. And today, it’s finally done. Funny, isn’t it? I can finally go to the Moon.

The journey starts here.

I’ve been working on a new project: The Society of the Crossed Keys, a travel magazine bringing together my photographs, stories and places I want to share.

It begins in Chamonix, where I live. Hotels, places to eat, landscapes and the stories that connect them. Other destinations will follow.

The website is already online. There’s now a dedicated Instagram account to follow the journal as it grows. And I’m working on an iPhone app to bring the stories, places and saved articles together in your pocket.

One project, taking shape in three places.

Made for the mountains.

“My main concern before using it was whether it could really work as a proper mountain backpack, beyond being a camera bag. I wasn’t sure I would have enough space. — In practice, it turned out to be extremely functional.”
