POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I’ve shared bits on my story but this one feels worth putting on the feed.
Manchester Half Marathon. 1:54:42.
22mins faster than I’ve ever run this distance before.
But the time isn’t really the part I’m most proud of.
I’ve been running for about two years, but the last six months were different. I had a goal, and I trained specifically for it.
The early morning runs before work. The long runs when I was tired at night. The injuries that nearly brought everything to a stop. The weeks where the right thing to do was rest and be patient rather than push through.
Building up slowly. Trusting the process even when there wasn't anything exciting to show for it.
Then on Sunday, at around 16km, the cramps came. I’d already been running for well over an hour and a half, and every part of me wanted to slow down.
I didn’t.
Somehow, the last 6km became the fastest part of my race.
And I think that’s what running has taught me:
The work you do when nobody is watching eventually shows up when everybody is.
Whether it’s running, work, business, family, faith, or whatever you’re building, progress doesn’t always look impressive while you’re in the middle of it.
Sometimes it just looks like showing up again.
Proud of this one. 🏅

Started supporting Arsenal during the 2003/04 Invincibles era… and since then, I’ve waited to see this club win the league again.

Years of banter, heartbreak, near misses, and “maybe next season”… but today, it’s finally ours.

This journey has been long, emotional, and unforgettable, which makes this moment even sweeter. From dreaming about it to actually winning the Premier league trophy again… happy days.

And the scary part? History could still be waiting for us on Saturday against PSG in Budapest!

But for today… we celebrate being champions.
