Today, we lost one of the men who built this series from the ground up.

Tommy wasn’t just the owner of DP4… he was the heart behind it. The guy in the middle of the chaos making things happen, helping racers, talking smack, making people laugh, and creating a place that felt like family for so many people.

DP4 will never be the same without him.
The desert is going to feel a little quieter.

After a lot of conversations and heavy hearts, we’ve decided we ARE going to continue with this weekend’s race… 🏁
because we know that’s exactly what Tommy would’ve wanted. Honestly, he’d be angry if we shut it down. He loved this community, he loved race day, and he would never want people sitting at home instead of being together in the desert.

So this weekend, we race for Tommy.
For every late night, every handshake, every joke over the radio, every start line, every lap, every time he got fired up yelling across the pits, and everything he poured into DP4.

Do us one favor this weekend — tell a story in his memory, crack a “dad” joke like he always made at live draw, drink a Modelo Black or a margarita, and make some noise for him. That’s what he would’ve wanted.

Please keep his family, friends, and everyone close to him in your prayers right now.

🚨RACER UPDATE:🚨
There will be no live draw tonight. Instead, starting positions will be drawn poker-style at registration tomorrow morning. When you check in, you’ll draw your own start card for your position.

We’ll see you in the pits. 🏁❤️ by @dp4offroad

@dp4offroad Round 4: Ridgecrest had a new face to watch 👀🏁

@hurtadoracing showed up to see what Ridgecrest had to offer — and just like she’s done all season, she came ready to get seat time.

First year racing. Almost every series. Every race = another opportunity to learn, adapt, and get faster.

She’s not just showing up to race… she’s soaking up the whole experience and getting the kind of grassroots racing education you can’t buy. 🔥

The more laps, the more lessons. The more lessons, the better the racer. Big Thank You to Vantage Home Loans for the new sponsorship opportunity!

Keep an eye on this girl. She’s just getting started. 👀

Follow along — the journey is only beginning. taken in Ridgecrest, California by @dp4offroad
