Second FULL day in Rome. Started with an early morning return to the Trevi Fountain for some slightly less crowded and waterside pics. Then on to the Vatican where we spent a lot of time seeing the Vatican museums, culminating with the Sistine Chapel (no photography allowed in the Sistine Chapel.). Then we went to St. Peters Plaza to see the plaza and St. Peter's Basilica. Finally we saw the Pantheon and then let Riley do some shopping. by @dpace429

Yesterday we flew to Rome. After checking into our B&B, there was only time to grab a quick cafe dinner and then walk to the Trevi Fountain.

We will try to go back early Wednesday morning before heading to the Vatican.

We are staying in an apartment at the base of the Piazza del Campidoglio at the Northwest end of the Roman Forum, so easy walking access to many sights. by @dpace429

Today was shopping a long the royal mile, seeing the Palace of Holyroodhouse, a brief walk through Edinburgh new town, and generally enjoying the architecture, streets, and alleys of Edinburgh Old Town. by @dpace429

Arrived in Edinburgh yesterday afternoon. Staying in a flat in the Grassmarket beneath Edinburgh castle. Riley was tired and wanted to rest, but I wanted to stroll about the Grassmarket area for a bit and then Judy joined me to walk three minutes to Greyfriars Kirk yard where we sawany of the sights which served as inspiration for J.K. Rowling character names such as Tom Riddle and William McGonagall.

Today was Millennial Bridge, the new Globe theatre, the site of the original Globe theatre, Borough Market, The Clink museum (this one was for me, thanks to Judy and Riley for indulging me), and the national gallery.
