Possibly two of my favourite photos I've ever taken. I was able to catch the moment in time in both photo and video.

Here I used a LUT through the Lumix app.
What do you think?

Which one do you prefer?

Another shot from Málaga. I know people like to make huge and drastic changes with the colour. I've tried to be as subtle as possible.

I think tomorrow I'll show you what it actually looked like on the day so that you can actually grasp the changes that have been implemented. Would you like that?

Let me know your thoughts! 🤗

I thought I would play around with depth masking in Davinci Resolve. I wanted to find a way to change the background without using masks. I do notice some shadow trails which I need to work on. I'll give a breakdown later on in the week.

What do you think? Is there a process I've overlooked to change the background? I would love to hear your thoughts and have a discourse around this! 🤗

Day 19/20 of my Daily Colour Grading challenge! 🎨🎥

[Footage by John Brawley ACS. He retains full international copyright. Contact him directly for permission to use or share.]

Another special clip and a special thank you to John Brawley for allowing me to use his footage in my portfolio. I absolutely loved this piece of footage, with a lot of dynamic range to work with, I had to lock in and get creative. Yes less is more, but I wanted to see just how I could manipulate this.

I had so much fun working with professional grade footage and I look forward to showcasing you other works of John Brawley!

What do you think of the before and after? Let me know in the comments, and hit follow to see day 20 tomorrow!👇🏾

Day 18/20 of my Daily Colour Grading challenge! 🎨🎥

Thank you @lisakeeks_ for the opportunity unity to video your B2B event.

Another chance to be able to work with low light. Using the Lumix S5II, I really did love the image displayed. Although it may be time to get a monitor because I had noticed some grain in my footage when colour grading. Learning more about ISO, exposure etc is paramount. But it was nothing that noise reduction couldn't handle.

This was done in DaVinci Resolve, focusing mainly on recovering information, and making colours pop subtly without ruining the footage.

What I enjoyed here is maintaining skin colours.
