I have quite a few new followers!

Welcome to my page!!

I’m Dr. Alicia Newsome! As a multifaceted professional in the realms of medicine, fitness, public speaking, and executive coaching.

I’m on a mission to empower high-achievers to take charge of their well-being and reclaim their lives.

Women are always asking me, Dr. Alicia, how can I work with you?

There are three ways to work with me.

1) Your company can hire me to come in and speak or provide workshops on leadership & employee wellbeing strategies. I specialize in energy management, productivity, and creating cultures of high performance. I also provide executive coaching, so this is often a great way to have your company sponsor your fees to work with me 1:1.

2) You can invite me to speak at your conference, retreat, or on your podcast! This is a great way for you to provide value and knowledge to your audience.

3) You can work with me directly. You can always book a virtual consultation. I work with women all over the country and can order the lab work you need in order to get the answers you are looking for. I am a fan of answers! The right testing done at the right time and in the right way is soooo important.....especially when it comes to your precious body and hormones! So the women that work with me follow the motto “test, don’t guess”!

Plus, you have direct access to me during your consultation, my full attention, and you’re able to get answers faster.

So there you have it! Click the link in my bio or comment below with any questions if you are interested in working with me!

🌟 What an unforgettable day! 🌟

Today, I had the amazing opportunity to go LIVE on Good Morning Arizona, and I’m still feeling the excitement! 🎥✨

@tessrafolstv , you were such a wonderful anchor—our conversation felt so easy and natural, like we’d been girlfriends for years. 💕

And @katiethomsonaz , the producer, you made the entire process so smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.

You ladies are truly incredible! 🙌🏽

But the most heart warming part? The love and support from my family. My husband went full-on paparazzi mode, taking over 400 pictures! 😂

And my heart just about burst when my in-laws sent me a picture of our baby boy at home, eyes glued to the TV, watching mommy on live TV. That moment? Absolutely priceless. 🥹❤️

When my daughters got home from school, they couldn’t wait to watch the recording. Seeing how proud they were reminded me of why I do this work. 💕

On the show, I got to talk about a topic that’s so close to my heart—hormones, the menstrual cycle, and how syncing our lives with our cycle can lead to better health and well-being. 🌿✨

There was a time when I was too exhausted and overwhelmed to even dream of doing something like this. But understanding and balancing my hormones transformed my life, giving me the energy and confidence to show up fully for my family, my work, and myself.

Sharing this journey with all of you is my life’s work, and I’m beyond honored to empower women to take control of their health and thrive.

Thank you again to Tess, Katie, Paul, who was so kind and greeted us at the front door and the entire @arizonasfamily team for this incredible opportunity!

And thank you to everyone who supported me today—your love means the world to me. owing the story.

The same traits that make you exceptional at your job, the perfectionism, the people pleasing, the self-sufficiency, are the exact same traits quietly destroying your health. And nobody talks about that.

I sat down with Kaitlin Borncamp on the Feel Great With Kait podcast, and we went straight to the root of it.

We talked about why a hyper-independent woman ends up carrying more than she was ever called to carry, how your body responds to stress the same way it would respond to a bear, and why that midafternoon crash and that wired but tired feeling at night are not normal. They are signals.

We also got into the simple morning and evening practices that help your body feel safe again, and why rest is not the opposite of productive.

If you have been praised for how much you hold together while quietly falling apart, this one is for you.

What could change if you started questioning the negative stories you tell yourself?

When we challenge those thoughts and reconnect with what’s actually true about us, we can begin to see new possibilities, recognize the support around us, and open ourselves up to asking for help.

In my conversation with Dr. Alicia Newsome on Smart, Driven, Women, we dig into the narratives we carry, where they come from, and how we can start telling ourselves a different story.

Listen to the full episode to explore how the way you talk to yourself may be shaping more of your life than you realize.

One week from today, Worthy of Rest goes out into the world.

It’s for the woman who has decided that resting is a risk she can’t afford, because she’s convinced that if she stops holding things together, everything will fall apart.

The people who love you are not going to collapse the minute you stop managing everything, and this book walks you through finding that out safely, one chapter at a time.

Worthy of Rest is available now for pre-order, out next Saturday. Head to Amazon and grab your copy. by @dr.alicianewsome

You rested all weekend and still woke up exhausted on Monday.

You are not broken. You may have gotten the wrong kind of rest.

Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith, a board-certified internal medicine physician and author of Sacred Rest, breaks down the seven types of rest: physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, social, sensory, and creative. Each one has its own restorative activities. Sleeping, taking a vacation, or lying on the couch may not pour back into the area where you are actually depleted.

The full episode is out now on The Whole and Complete Woman Podcast. Head to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube to listen to the full conversation.

Mindfulness does not have to be complicated.

If you tend to overthink everything, even calming down, you are not alone. Irina Wolf says with art it is simple. You have a pen, a pencil, and a page, and you color or draw. You are present, and you get the benefits.

If you think you are not creative, she says that is a limitation we put on ourselves. It is a practice you repeat, and you get better. So just start.

This session is now on The Whole and Complete Woman Podcast. Head to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube to listen to the full conversation.

The All Things Woman Summit 2027 is coming. If you are a woman with a message and a mission, we want you on that stage. Stay tuned for how to apply to speak.

Most of us skip the pause between the day we just had and the people waiting for us at home.

The unfinished list, the tension from that last call, and the decision you still haven't made can all follow you through the door. The people who love you can feel it even when they can't name it.

Before you walk in tonight, take three slow breaths, name one thing you're leaving behind, and pause at the threshold. It takes five minutes, and it can change how you show up for the people waiting for you.

This is one of the practices inside Worthy of Rest, because rest isn't something you have to earn after you've done everything for everyone else.

The e-book edition is available now for pre-order on Amazon, and the paperback will be available to order on November 7, 2026.

Want me to remind you when the paperback is available? Reply to our email or send me a DM, and I'll personally remind you.

You can sleep eight hours and still wake up exhausted. You can take a vacation and come home needing a vacation from your vacation.

The problem is not that you are not resting enough. The problem is you are not getting the kind of rest you actually need.

I sat down with Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith, a board-certified internal medicine physician and author of the bestselling Sacred Rest, and this conversation stopped me in my tracks. She identified seven different types of rest. Physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, social, sensory, and creative. And most of us are running on empty in more than one.

This one is especially close to my heart because I have my own book coming, Worthy of Rest, and this conversation is exactly why I wrote it. Pre-order is open now.

Also, grab Dr. Saundra’s book Sacred Rest and take her free rest quiz at restquiz.com.

This episode drops on October 30th at 6AM Arizona time.

Head now to The Whole and Complete Woman Podcast to hear the full conversation with Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith. Available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube.

You hear it said, if you did not come from a wealthy family, let a wealthy family come through you. But what about health?

I shared this on The Robyn Graham Show. If you did not come from a healthy family, you can be the one who breaks those generational curses, the one whose children are healthy and whose children's children are healthy too. For me, it was not that way growing up. So much chronic illness gets passed down from generation to generation, and so does how we handle stress, because we learn that from our parents.

Head over to The Robyn Graham Show to hear the full conversation.

Resting but still exhausted? Today is pre-order day for Worthy of Rest.

I wrote this book for the woman who takes the weekend, takes the vacation, and is tired again within 48 hours. Nothing is wrong with you. You have not been doing rest wrong.

Rest is the action. Restoration is the outcome, and most of us were never taught what keeps rest from reaching us. Picture pouring water into a cracked cup. The water goes in, but it does not stay. Rest was built into creation from the beginning, and in this book I walk you through what is causing the cracks in your body, your mind and your spirit, and what it takes to close them.

Head over to Amazon to pre-order your copy today. Link in the comment section.
