POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Over the past 7 days, I had the pleasure of accompanying the Ft. Bend DA’s office, EEYP, and a group of some of the most intellectual and well mannered children from Ft. Bend County and Harris County as we traveled across 4 state lines to partake in The Freedom Tour.

This tour included stops in (1) Selma, AL (2) Tuskegee, AL (3) Montgomery, AL (4) Birmingham, AL (5) Memphis, TN and (6) New Orleans, LA.

This trip informed, reminded, and exposed us all about the history of African and Black Americans and our progress. From the Atlantic Slave Trade during the 1800s, lack of human rights and civil rights during the 1900s and to still be experiencing civil injustices in the 2000s… this opportunity was nothing less than a blessing.

Our PRESENCE, VOICE, and VOTE does matter. If it didn’t, there would not be such a consistent and intentional effort to prevent us from doing so. by @dr.b._____

💗 Happy 2nd Birthday to my beautiful Bri Marie! 🎂🎉

On September 16, 2024, you came into this world, not by choice but by force, and changed my life in ways I could have never imagined. Watching you grow, learn, laugh, and discover the world has been one of my greatest blessings.

At just 2 years old, you have already filled my heart with more love, joy, and purpose than words can express. Daddy will always be here to love you, protect you, encourage you, and remind you just how special you are.

Keep smiling, keep exploring, and keep being the amazing little girl God created you to be. 💕

Happy 2nd Birthday, Babygirl! 👑🎂💗

🎒 150+ BACKPACKS. ONE COMMUNITY. A LASTING IMPACT. 🎒

The Missouri City–Sugar Land (TX) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. extends our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make our Back-to-School Backpack Initiative a tremendous success!

Through the generosity, collaboration, and commitment of our community partners, donors, and Brothers, we were able to collect and gift more than 150 fully stocked backpacks to students at Ridgemont Elementary School and Christa McAuliffe Middle School. 📚✏️🎒

A special thank you to:

♦️ Our incredible community donors and supporters
♦️ The Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office
♦️ Fort Bend County District Attorney Brian Middleton
♦️ The Fort Bend County Expose Excellence Youth Program
♦️ The dedicated Brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and all others who donated, collected, organized, packed, and helped distribute supplies

This initiative represents what can happen when community, leadership, service, and brotherhood come together with a shared purpose.

These backpacks are more than school supplies—they represent encouragement, preparation, opportunity, and a community that believes in our young people.

To every person and organization who contributed: THANK YOU! Your generosity helped ensure that more than 150 students could begin the school year equipped and ready to achieve.

Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor. ♦️👌🏾

This past week I had the great privilege of doing many things as I attended the 87th Grand Chapter Meeting for the greatest fraternity there is. However my biggest take aways were the abilities to learn, relearn, network, be reminded of my why, and ultimately develop a new why. Because of this and many others, I am grateful…

To Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., to the Mighty Southwestern Province, and to the home team, I say thank you and Yo!!!
