I wanted this memory to have as permanent a place on my feed as it is in my soul. This Giving Tuesday, I wanted to recognize not only those who gave their all on this service trip in Kenya, but to those who give their all every day as healthcare professionals. Healthcare is unique, we often give more of us to our patients than to ourselves. So i just wanted to say, I see you all and I pray you all know that seeds you plant WILL grow and will give future generations opportunities for growth. Never NOT plant that seed 🌱💕 by @dr.britorgerson

Spamming your feed with grad pics because after a long journey I FINALLY PASSED MY CLINICAL BOARDS AND AM A PERMANENTLY LICENSED DENTIST!! 🎉🙌🏼

Two weeks after I took ADEX the first time I found out I had failed a portion of my exam. I was mortified and so ashamed.

I was unsure if I could even retake the portion I failed because there were only two exam dates available in the entire nation for the rest of the foreseeable future (one back at USC and one in Kentucky). I got off the waitlist at USC and found out I’d be headed BACK to California to retake it.

I was so embarrassed and ashamed. I didn’t tell anyone except my bosses, my parents, and a select few friends. I couldn’t even say it out loud without breaking down.

This is the best day of my life because I can FINALLY say GOODBYE to dental school and exams and HELLO to the rest of my life 💛🥰

Whether it’s you, someone you know, or a complete stranger: everyone can empathize with someone fighting a cancer battle. 🩷.

As a dentist, I frequently see the aftermath and oral health side effects Breast Cancer survivors endure and I’m so happy to provide them with care and preventative advice to help them feel healthy, confident, and beautiful every single day. 💕💪🏼

Thank you @wearfigs for donating to Breast Cancer Research and you can show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness and get either of these two new colors by going to the FIGS website or app and getting yourself a pair of scrubs today 💕🙏🏼💪🏼

Smokey Taupe is like Espresso but you’ve added cream ❤️‍🔥😍☕️

Smokey Taupe is my favorite color behind Espresso and it’s BACK along with Sagewater - a new, calm, seafoamy color. This new collection is so calming it’ll help you reset and refresh! 🧘🏼‍♀️✌🏼

Use the code in my bio for $$$ off your purchase! 💸💸 by @dr.britorgerson

This one is a question I get all the time especially for patients whose diagnoses are different from a “regular cleaning”. 🧼 🩸🪥✨

This is such a broad and generalized breakdown of the main 4 that we do at a general dentist office. Also I want to take a moment to shout out to all the dental hygiene professionals out there WHO ARE LITERAL ANGELS and so amazing at their jobs. Without you, I would CRUMBLE for real for real. 🙏🏼

In the next video, I’ll go more in depth the clinical differences between a Prophylaxis (Prophy) and a Scaling and Root Planing (SRP) diagnosis and what that means going forward if you DO have an SRP!

Anything surprise you in today’s episode? 🤔 by @dr.britorgerson
