“The puppeteer”. This is my bust entry for @freakwarsmadridand and probably my most ambitious project until today. Awesome @spiramirabilis_miniatures sculpt. I still can’t believe I won silver in the Master category. The standard of the pieces was truly incredible, and it was a pleasure to compete alongside such amazing artists. It wouldn’t have been possible without @alfonso_giraldes_banshee (@miniatureart_academy) help. Thank you so much for your guidance, support and dedication to the project. You’ve taken me beyond my limits. I joined The Journey a year ago and the way I understand, integrate and enjoy painting has changed radically. It has been a real pleasure to meet you. Great teacher, even better person.
It has been an incredible weekend meeting many of my idols.
I want to give a special thanks to @dabrush91, @the_sassynurgling_miniatures and @sigfrieds_bane for your incredible support!! Love you guys! See you soon #paintingbust #thejourney #miniatureart #spiramirabilisminiatures #freakwars2026 taken in Murcia, España by @dr.brusher

Finally finished this guy. Absolutely stunning piece by @cyberbrush_3d. Thank you so much for sending me a copy. I’ve tried to apply contrast and saturation concepts learned from @miniatureart_academy. I’ve also tried to improve my basing skills. It’s not perfect but I’m happy with the result. Hope you like it!!

Working on this guy. One of my AoS favorite minis. So creepy. It needs a little bit more depth on the dark nmm but I’m pretty happy with it. Painted using @ionicsmarthobbies acrylics. Another corpse grinder. I specially like the noobs. The more skin I have to paint the more I enjoy. I’m very satisfied with the skin tone. I’ve tried to represent the underhive sick tone using a lot of greens, violets and yellows. This one is entirely painted using @ionicsmarthobbies acrylics and they are working perfectly well. Hope you like it!! #corpsegrindercult #necromunda #necromundaunderhive #warhammerofficial #miniatureart taken in Murcia, España by @dr.brusher

Corpse grinder WIP. Finally I’ve found the skin tone I was looking for. Painted using @ionicsmarthobbies paints. The references are red, ochre, gnome skin, dark violet, brown green, turquoise and white. Hope you like it!! #necromunda #corpsegrindercult #warhammerofficial #miniatureart #paintingminiature taken in Murcia, España by @dr.brusher

Table top project. I’m seriously thinking about playing Necromunda. For this one I’ve tried to work with a very limited color palette. I also tried @ionicsmarthobbies paints for the first time and I’m surprised of their quality. I’ve used brown green, dark violet, turquoise, gnome skin, red, white and black (plus blood effects). I tried to work with a limited palette because I want to improve my mixing skills that it’s something that I’ve learned from @alfonso_giraldes_banshee. Maybe I’ll try an orange filter in the armor to get a more vibrant color. Hope you like it!! #necromunda #corpsegrindercult #warhammerofficial #miniatureart #miniaturepainting taken in Murcia, España by @dr.brusher

Samuel Beechworth. Awesome bust sculpted by @bohemond_minis (you can find it in his bio). I love Dishonored art work and when I saw this guy I couldn’t resist. This was a quick project (about 10 hours) to practice light effects and atmosphere. I was specially interested in practicing “halo light” that I’ve learned from @alfonso_giraldes_banshee (like many other things). Taking better photos of some old pieces. This was one of the most challenging minis that I’ve painted. I received invaluable feedback from @alfonso_giraldes_banshee on this one about color harmony and focus and I’ll probably work on it in a future. Awesome sculpture by @cyberbrush_3d and @wargamesprint. Hope you like it (again 😂)!! #nmm #miniatureart #mechanicalhorse #knight #3dpainting taken in Murcia, España by @dr.brusher
