I've learned that a large number of women don't really know what's going on with their bodies or hormones every month. Sure they experience symptoms but they don't truly know the nitty gritty behind them.

If you are a woman in your reproductive years, your hormones follow an intentional flow through four different phases each month. Not only does this rhythm empower us with the incredible capability to procreate, but to tap into unique strengths and capabilities all month long.

Supporting these hormone fluctuations through each phase can empower you to access each gift and feel your best. But in order to do so, it’s important to understand what your hormones are doing in each of the four phases.

Here's a breakdown of the phases and moods you may experience and how you can eat, exercise and eat during these phases.

I’m once again SO HONOURED to be invited to speak on this.

A real, research-informed conversation about what it takes for Black people to age well in mind, body, and spirit.

Dr. Candice Todd ND and I are bringing together science, story, and deep care for the health of Black people. This session is designed to be information-rich, culturally grounded, and immediately actionable for Black people. While I’m not Black, it’s very important to me that health professionals like myself learn the racial differences in medicine to do right by our Black patients.

What you’ll learn
By the end of this event, you’ll walk away with:

Clarity on what drives health outcomes for Black people as we age.

How racism, stress, discrimination, and social conditions show up in our bodies over time.

Realistic daily practices that actually fit Black lives
Movement, food, sleep, and connection habits you can adapt to your real schedule, energy, and responsibilities.

Tools for navigating the healthcare system
How to prepare for appointments, ask better questions, and advocate for yourself and your loved ones.

Support for your mental and emotional health
Naming grief, stress, and burnout, and learning practices that honor culture and lived experience.

Ways to build community care around aging
How families, churches, collectives, and friend groups can better support elders and those who care for them.

A real, research-informed conversation about what it takes for Black people to age well in mind, body, and spirit.
