To all the parents out there ♥️
.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when it comes to building your kids’ awareness around their dental health.
.
Because the habits you build while they’re young… stay with them for life.

Have you ever seen a problem just disappear on its own?
Ignored issues don’t fade, they grow worse.
.
Catching things early saves you from long procedures, expensive treatments… and the classic “I hate the dentist” 😇

Healthy gums are not supposed to bleed..
when you eat..
When you brush..
Even when you poke them..
.
Bleeding is a message from your gums telling you that there’s unhealthy bacteria accumulated deep in the gum pockets🦠
.
Do the right thing and keep on maintaining their health,
Meaning, check up and cleaning every 4-6 months💪🏽

Cavities can dry out… yes, but only at an early stage 💪🏽

When decay is still limited to the enamel, it can be stopped and even reversed, no drilling needed. At that point, controlling plaque and food accumulation is key to breaking the cycle.

But once it reaches the dentin, there’s no turning back… no matter how deep it goes, it requires treatment 🦷
.
Don’t delay to catch decay💪🏽

Never, ever, ever stop flossing ✨
.
If your gums bleed when you floss, it usually means they’re inflamed and irritated by food or tartar trapped between the teeth.
Flossing helps remove it

Help your gums so they can help you 🤍🦷
