We all face the same question: how can I support everyone with limited funds to give? 💭 Dr. Donath shares how Daily Giving solved that— a diversified portfolio spanning 100+ causes across the U.S. and Israel, turning small daily commitments into $8.8 million in impact this year. Giving 365 days a year has never felt so effortless — or so powerful. ❤️ by @dr.donate

God didn’t put giving in this world primarily to help others. That’s a side effect. The biggest beneficiary of giving is you.

Life is hard. The news is heavy. The phone never stops. And most people don’t give themselves nearly enough credit for carrying all of it. But when you give, something shifts. You feel better about yourself - and you deserve to.

My most prized possession is a 300-year-old Megillah that passed through six generations of hands before it reached mine.

It almost went to my older cousin. He turned it down. So it came to me.

I think about that a lot. The things we inherit are rarely random. Share this if you believe that too. by @dr.donate

One philanthropist writing a $24,000 check doesn’t feel the same as 24,000 people choosing to show up. The organizations we visited told me that themselves. Save this and share it with someone who still thinks their dollar doesn’t matter. by @dr.donate

TED flagged my talk and said it would never be seen. Three months of work. Gone. I was davening every night of Hanukkah just begging for a miracle. Then a 21-year-old told me the rosh yeshiva of YU had already sent everyone to watch it. I didn’t even know it was live. Sometimes the miracle comes quietly. Jonathan Donath is the co-founder of Daily Giving, an amazing organization that enables people to donate $1 a day online. With over 24,000 daily givers, Daily Giving has distributed over 34 million dollars to Jewish charities!

Beyond that, Jonathan has made it his personal mission to spread the word about Pnei Hashem. He has bought and given out nearly 100 copies himself, and, as he does in this clip, he raves about the book whenever he is interviewed for his incredible work.

I can’t thank Jonathan enough. I am always so grateful when people let me know how much the book has meant to them! And spreading the word to others is such a generous gift.

If you would like to let any of your friends know about Pnei Hashem, please feel free to share this incredibly genuine testimonial with them.

And if you are interested in an easy and impactful way of giving tzedaka daily, check out Jonathan’s spectacular organization at DailyGiving dot org. by @dr.donate

The highest achievers I know are often the hardest people to teach giving to.

Not because they’re selfish. Because they were raised to earn love through results. Every grade, every title, every win was a bid for it. The cup never filled.

You can’t pour from empty.

A random conversation at JFK led me to Scott Harrison and charity:water, one of the organizations that shaped how Daily Giving was built.

Over a billion raised. 20 million people with clean water. And every donated dollar goes directly to the cause because they fund their overhead separately. That is exactly what we do too.

The birthday campaign they run, where people raise money instead of getting gifts, we see that same impulse here. Kids signing up to bring in daily givers for their bar mitzvah. A girl who passed away in a car accident whose page went viral and raised over a million dollars for clean water.

People want to give. They just need the right vessel.

Yad Sarah started with a pair of crutches.

One person said: instead of buying them, lend them. That idea grew into an operation that saves 1 billion shekel a year, because when you leave the hospital, a bed shows up at your house. Equipment you’d otherwise pay weeks of rehab to access. All of it free.

Yad Leah distributes over 500,000 pieces of clothing a year to families in Israel who need them.

We gave $24,526 to Yad Leah yesterday. $24,527 to Yad Sarah today.

If you’re ever in Israel, go visit Yad Sarah. You won’t believe what one idea became.

Maimonides understood something most people miss: receiving is not the same as taking.

God designed the system this way. For there to be givers, there have to be receivers. And the giver who never receives is not giving from a full place. They’re giving from depletion, and everyone can feel the difference.

Your cup has to be full first. That’s not selfishness. That’s how the blessing actually flows.
