🎼I hope you'll enjoy a clip from another video filmed at the UNESCO Heritage Vrtba Gardens a few years ago while in Prague!

🥰 It was a delight to record and create this video of Mozart's elegant aria "Deh Vieni non Tardar" from The Marriage of Figaro featuring the lovely ballerina Jade Marie Becker with a cameo of my husband Eddie as Figaro! (Fabulous hair and makeup by Lenka Regulyová at lenkareguly ) ❤️

🎭 The plot, plus audio and video details can be found in the complete video on my YouTube channel here and via LinkTree in my bio: https://tinyurl.com/Deh-Vieni-non-Tardar

🎙️ You can stream my new EP "Mozart Magic and Pure Puccini" featuring this aria among others on your favorite platform (Spotify, Amazon & more) by clicking here or via LinkTree:

🩵🐦 This journal is a prelude to a series of books I have begun on flourishing in life. These will be for everyone!

📘✍️ Though I have published nearly 30 peer-reviewed academic journal articles, this series will mark the first of my own books. My goal is to inspire people to live their best life, to flourish!

You can find "I Am Flourishing: Guided Journal for Empowering Women" at the link in my bio or simply search via Amazon.

🦋 🙏 May you flourish in life.

In her old peach tree perch from the early dawn to the purple dusk, then gracing the grapevine canopy on a crystal clear day, we can envision the magic of a rescue kitten's world of wonder in her Mediterranean mountain home haven. 💛💜💚

October by Robert Frost

O hushed October morning mild,
Thy leaves have ripened to the fall;
Tomorrow’s wind, if it be wild,
Should waste them all.

The crows above the forest call;
Tomorrow they may form and go.
O hushed October morning mild,
Begin the hours of this day slow.

Make the day seem to us less brief.
Hearts not averse to being beguiled,
Beguile us in the way you know.

Release one leaf at break of day;
At noon release another leaf;
One from our trees, one far away.
Retard the sun with gentle mist;

Enchant the land with amethyst.
Slow, slow!

For the grapes’ sake, if they were all,
Whose leaves already are burnt with frost,
Whose clustered fruit must else be lost—
For the grapes’ sake along the wall.

🍂 Robert Frost is one of my favorite poets. Mystically, I came upon this poem today. Our home and my heart had embodied his words throughout the week even though today is the first time I read it.

🍇 Our grapes are indeed fading, while their leaves are becoming gems of brilliant rusty hues, as though passing on the torch. 🍁

🙏 Time indeed moves onward. Let's embrace the dreams that still have hope and may we find peace with the thought that some may never live.

🎥 All of the photos were taken this morning and at dusk yesterday.

🍂🐈‍⬛ In anticipation of the cold weather and appreciation for all the little things in life we can pull into our perception, our wise, magical rescue kitten "I Zi" ("Black" in Albanian) reminds us to:

🍅🌺 Notice the plants still finding a way to bloom,

🍏🍐Gather even scrappy looking fruits and veggies because sometimes those are just as sweet and nutritious as the fancy looking ones, and

🩷🩵 Always appreciate the magical colors adorning the sky every day for all of us to enjoy.

🤍🕊️ Sending love and good wishes to all, especially to those who are struggling for whatever reason.

🌺 These rosebud geraniums and roses at the promenade amphitheater gardens hold a quiet magic that shines through their persistence. While many plants are softly winding down for the winter, these October blooms remind me that we don’t need soft conditions to grow. To the contrary, challenging conditions actually fuel our growth. Keep persisting. Your time, your pace, regardless of the season. 💖

❄️ You are entirely capable of handling the frost. If these blossoms can find a way to open up in the crisp October air, you can find your way through this challenging chapter, too. Hang in there. You’re becoming stronger along the way. 🤍

🪷 Visiting friends Julie and Ian at their new home, breaking bread, savoring potato-leek soup, and enjoying great conversation. What more could one ask for?

💗 I hope your weekend also included some relaxation time alone or with friends, a savory veggie dish and perhaps a bit of laughter too.

🌞🏊‍♀️ A sunny day in October inspired us to go for one more chilly autumn swim in beautiful lake Ohrid.

💦 Lake Ohrid is the oldest lake in Europe and is one of only five continuous ancient lakes on Earth.

The continuous existence of deep water is estimated to be between 1.3 million and 2 million years (with structural tectonic depression beginning up to 3 to 5 million years ago)!

🩵 Here's some fun facts below:

• Tectonic creation: The lake formed by continuous tectonic activity (movement of Earth's crust) rather than glacial melting.

• Rare history: Continuous ancient lakes are formed via active crustal movement or a geotectonic depression (graben formation) rather than glacial scouring allows them to persist past normal geological lifespans.

💧Why It Is So Clear

• Underground springs: Much of the water comes from underwater karst springs fed by neighboring Lake Prespa through underground mountain channels.

• Low nutrients: The water is oligotrophic, meaning it has very low nutrient levels and low amounts of algae.

• High visibility: Because there is little suspended matter or algae, light penetrates deep into the water, giving it a crystal-clear look with visibility up to 22 meters (72 feet).

💚 Though it is October and a chill is in the air, the willows still impress. The roses still persist. They continue being themselves and are beautiful in doing so.

🌿 May we learn from nature and continue being ourselves, doing our best, recognizing our hearts and shining through it all somehow.

🌹 Sending love and encouraging you to keep loving yourself and continue moving forward no matter what.

From the garden to the table! 🍅🥔✨🥬 Eddie has planted and then harvested such treasures from the soil, leaving us feeling so incredibly grateful for the abundance of the season. There is nothing quite like watching sprouts turn into the full glory of rainbow veggies! 🫑🌱🧺🌶️💚

(Notice in slide 4, that since we're 💯% organic, we share our bounty with bugs sometimes 😅 , also enjoy seeing the hazelnuts among the veggies at slides 11-12, and be sure to swipe to the very last slide for a special seasonal note! 👉)

Speaking of harvests, I’ve been learning more about the beautiful traditions of others lately. Our Jewish friends are currently celebrating Sukkot, a weeklong autumn festival deeply rooted in gratitude and giving thanks for the harvest.🌈🧺🤗🙏

I learned that families build temporary outdoor shelters called a sukkah—historically representing the fragile huts farmers would dwell in during the final harvest days before the winter rains. It’s a tradition centered on stepping outside, embracing hospitality, and finding joy and peace in what sustains us. Learning about it made me appreciate my own time in nature even more. 🛖💚🌳

To all my friends celebrating, Chag Sukkot Sameach! (Happy Sukkot!) 🌶️❤️🍅 Wishing you and everyone a joyful season filled with community, shared meals and deep gratitude.
