No one talks about how ambitious women quietly burn out.

Not the kind where you fall apart publicly.
The kind where you keep showing up with grit and determination…
but privately, your body just can’t keep up.

For me, it showed up in small ways.

I was doing everything “right”—
moving my body, eating “well,” staying disciplined, staying productive.
From the outside, I looked successful.

But internally, something felt off.

I was collapsing onto the couch after putting my kids to bed.
My jeans weren’t buttoning like they used to.
It felt like there was only so much energy in my tank.

No amount of “trying harder” fixed it.

What bothered me most wasn’t the discomfort—
it was the confusion.

Because, as a healthcare professional, I knew what SHOULD be working… but my body wasn’t responding.

That’s when I noticed it wasn’t just me.

High-capacity women.
Smart women.
Driven women.
We aren’t inconsistent or lazy—we’re just tired in a way sleep can’t fix.

And because we’re high achievers,
we’re really good at holding it together.

But you can’t “fake it till you make it” to more energy.

Here’s the truth I uncovered:

Ambitious women don’t need more discipline.
We need a different framework. ✨

Because ambitious women ARE different.

We push through.
We adapt.
We carry responsibility.

And what drives us
also requires more support.

I’m no longer interested in pushing women harder.
I’m interested in helping us build bodies
that support our ambition.

If this felt familiar, you’re in the right place. 🤍

I’ve been thinking about this for a while… and it feels equal parts empowering and weird to say out loud:

👉 I’m changing my handle to @drkerrybriscoe.

The internet is loud right now — full of wellness opinions, trendy hacks, mixed messages, and “experts” without clinical training.
It’s confusing.
It’s noisy.
And sometimes it’s downright dangerous.

And honestly? As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I’ve spent years downplaying my title because I never wanted to seem self-important 😅

But here’s the truth:
PTs sell ourselves short. A lot.
We evaluate, diagnose, and treat movement dysfunction.
We help people walk, move, and function again.
We are the musculoskeletal experts — yet we rarely claim it.

So this isn’t about being “fancy” online 😂
It’s about clarity, credibility, and being the bestie you can actually TRUST in a noisy wellness space 🫶🏻

But because I don’t want to be confusing, here’s a breakdown: MD vs. DPT

👩🏻‍⚕️ MD (Medical Doctor): treats disease, prescribes meds, manages illness, may perform surgery.
💪🏻DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy): diagnoses and treats movement dysfunction, uses exercise/manual therapy/biomechanics/Neuro rehab to treat holistically, focuses on pain, mobility, and prevention — without drugs or surgery.

Different lanes. Same mission: better health.

So if you see the new handle pop up — it’s still me.
Same heart.
Same mission.
Same passion for helping women thrive in their bodies 👯‍♀️

Just with a title Im finally ready to stand in 💙✨ by @dr.kerrybriscoe

I can’t unsee it now.

Tbh, as a doctor of physical therapy, I'm NOT a skin expert. But over the last few months as I’ve worked on my gut health and gotten serious about improving my collagen (internally AND externally), I look back at old pictures of myself and think… wow. My skin was telling on me.

But I had no idea 🤯

I saw tired, puffy eyes and deep wrinkles starting to form…but I just figured that it was busy mom life. And that the only way to fix it would be to do some injections (or finally get my kiddos to sleep through the night HA!)

I honestly didn’t connect the dots that what I was seeing in my face, and the bloat I was feeling in my stomach was all stemming from the same ROOT issue. And that it was actually FIXABLE.

It was my body’s way of saying, “Hey chica, something’s off on the inside.”

I’d love to connect the dots for you and let you learn from my mistakes! So here’s what I’ve discovered (both as your hormone-obsessed PT friend and a woman who’s lived it):

✨ Puffiness + bloating are often the same problem showing up in two places—hellooooo inflammation 👋

✨ Collagen is basically the scaffolding that keeps your skin and joints strong, but stress and gut issues actually eat away at it.

✨ When you start repairing the inside (gut + hormones), your outside starts reflecting it back.

So yeah, these pictures show my skin looking better—but the real win? Feeling clearer, calmer, less inflamed, and more me again 🙌

That’s honestly why I share this stuff. Not because I think you need “perfect skin” or a “perfect” body, but because I want you to know: what you’re seeing in the mirror might be your body whispering that it needs a little more love on the inside. 💕

👉 If you’ve ever thought “ugh, why do I look so tired even when I’m not?”—you’re not crazy, friend. And there’s a way through it. Send me a quick message or drop a 🌸 below. I’d love to share what’s helped me and the women in my Hormonally Happy group. by @dr.kerrybriscoe

This picture isn’t some drastic 21-day fix 😉

It’s a woman who hated the way she felt 5 months ago—and decided to start loving her way toward feeling better.

I remember crying after trying to button these shorts in May.

After almost a decade of cleanses, severe calorie deficits, and cutting out entire food groups, I was exhausted 😣

My body felt like a stranger.
I wasn’t sleeping well.
My patience with my kids was nonexistent.
And leggings were all I wanted to wear.

The hardest part? Resisting my old habits.

I knew how to lose weight—I’d lost 70 pounds after having the twins, for crying out loud 🤣

But I had ZERO interest in cutting bananas in half, measuring PB by the teaspoon, or treating bread like the devil 😈

I needed to learn how to care for my 38-year-old body.

So I started learning 🤓 Looking at the research. Making small changes to how I ate, moved, slept, and handled stress.

And slowly but surely, I started feeling better 🥹

So when I sat down with Neora’s CEO to discuss Reclaim, I knew what I wanted our 90-day experience to include:

Education. Community. Practical habits that fit into busy lives 🙌🏻

Because as excited as I am about this supplement, we can’t overlook:

🤍 Sleep
🤍 Nutrition
🤍 Movement
🤍 Stress
🤍 Our environment and routines

I know how badly you want to feel like yourself again 💔 And how tempting it is to do something drastic.

But can I challenge you to give yourself time? To spend the next 90 days caring for yourself, one small change at a time?

“I would’ve had to work 143 years as a nurse to make what I made in 13 years with this company.”

There’s a burnt-out mom that needs to hear Jenn’s story.

You might not be dreaming of a 7 figure income (or maybe you are—no shame in it! 😜)

But I would bet that you’ve been praying for an opportunity…

An open door…

A way to bring in extra income for your family without taking TIME AWAY from your family…

The other night, my friend @jennifergivens_ and I tried to go live and share her story…apparently that was never meant to be (the attempt is still up on my Facebook page if you want a good laugh!)

This is just a snippet of that story, but it’s a powerful example of what God can do when you open yourself up to the possibility of something that might feel a little outside of the box ♥️

At the end of our chat, we talked about why now is an even BETTER time to start a business with us then it was when Jenn signed up 13 years ago, and we get chills thinking about the family’s that will be impacted through this movement…

This moment…

If you want to hear Jenn’s full story comment ME and I’ll send it to you! 😘

And as we said, this is Jenn’s personal story and everything she’s earned is due to her own efforts, diligence and skill. Nothing is ever guaranteed. by @dr.kerrybriscoe
