Just because I CAN do a procedure doesn’t mean I SHOULD.

Not every concern needs filler. Not every wrinkle needs Botox. And not every patient who walks into my office needs surgery.

One of the most important parts of being a facial plastic surgeon is knowing when not to intervene.

Sometimes the anatomy isn’t right. Sometimes the risks outweigh the benefits. And sometimes the best treatment is no treatment at all.

My job isn’t to sell you a procedure. It’s to help you make an informed decision about what will actually benefit you.

The goal isn’t to do more. It’s to do what’s right.

And sometimes, the most valuable thing I can offer a patient is an honest “no.”

If there’s something you’ve been thinking about changing, I’d love to hear your story. Let’s sit down, talk about your goals, and explore what makes sense for you. No pressure, no unnecessary procedures—just an honest conversation about what’s best for you.

I’m a hair transplant surgeon.

I’m also bald. 😂

And yes… I’m very aware of the irony.

But losing my own hair is part of what makes me so interested in hair loss, why it happens, and what actually works to treat it.

So welcome to The Bald Hair Surgeon — where we’ll talk hair loss, hair transplants, medications, technology, myths, bad advice, and the things I wish I knew before I lost mine.

No miracle cures. No marketing nonsense. Just honest conversations about hair restoration from a surgeon who happens to have no hair.

Follow along. 👨🏻‍🦲

Hair transplants do NOT stop hair loss.

This is one of the most important things to understand before considering hair restoration.

Transplanted hairs are generally resistant to hair loss, but your existing, non-transplanted hair can continue to thin and disappear over time.

That’s why planning a hair transplant isn’t just about replacing the hair you’ve already lost. It’s about anticipating the hair you’re likely to lose next.

A thoughtful approach considers future hair loss, donor hair preservation, long-term hairline design, and medical treatments that may help slow further thinning.

Because a great hair transplant shouldn’t just look natural today. It should continue to look natural 10 or 20 years from now.

Hair restoration isn’t just about where your hairline is today. It’s about where it’s heading.

Don’t choose your hair transplant based on a machine.

ARTAS. SmartGraft. NeoGraft. Manual FUE.

Different technologies. Same fundamental truth: The plan matters more than the device.

A great hair transplant starts long before the first graft is harvested.

It’s about understanding your pattern of hair loss, protecting your donor supply, designing a natural hairline, and planning for what your hair will look like 10 or 20 years from now.

At FORM Face + Body, we use both ARTAS robotic technology and manual FUE because different patients require different approaches.

SmartGraft, NeoGraft, and ARTAS are tools—not guarantees of a great result.

The real difference comes down to surgical judgment, graft handling, hairline design, and long-term planning.

Technology doesn’t replace expertise. It should support it.

Don’t shop for a machine. Choose a surgeon with a plan.

Your hair transplant should be designed for your future, not just your next before-and-after photo.

🐟 Salmon sperm… in your face?! Yes, you heard that right.

It sounds bizarre, but there’s actual science behind the hype.

Polynucleotides (PN) and polydeoxyribonucleotides (PDRN), derived from purified salmon DNA, are gaining attention in regenerative aesthetics for their potential to improve skin quality, hydration, and repair.

But before you jump on the latest viral skincare trend, there are a few things worth understanding.

🧬 What does the science actually show?

💉 Does it need to be injected?

🤔 And is it really worth the hype?

As with most things in aesthetics, promising science doesn’t always mean proven results.

Watch the reel to separate the science from the salmon sperm hype.

The dirty secret of hair transplantation? Not all grafts are created equal. 👀

You can transplant thousands of follicles, but if they aren’t handled properly, those numbers mean very little.

🌱 Every follicle counts.

Whether we’re using ARTAS robotic-assisted FUE or manual FUE, successful hair restoration goes beyond extraction.

From the moment a follicle is harvested until it’s implanted, how it’s handled, preserved, and protected can directly impact its survival and growth.

At FORM Face + Body, we prioritize every step of the process:

🔬 Precise follicular extraction using ARTAS or manual FUE

🌱 Gentle graft handling to minimize trauma

💧 Optimal graft hydration and preservation

⏱️ Minimizing time outside the body

🎯 Careful implantation for natural-looking results

Because the goal isn’t to transplant the MOST hair.

It’s to grow the MOST hair.

Don’t just ask how many grafts are being transplanted. Ask what’s being done to protect every single one.

Not every before-and-after photo tells the whole story. 👀

Lighting. Angles. Head position. Facial expression. Even the camera lens.

Sometimes, the biggest transformation isn’t the treatment — it’s how the photo was taken. 📸

Before-and-after photos are powerful tools, but subtle manipulations can make results look far more dramatic than they really are. And you don’t need Photoshop to do it.

As a facial plastic surgeon, I believe patients deserve to see real results, not marketing tricks.

Same lighting. Same angles. Same positioning. No smoke and mirrors.

Because when you’re making decisions about your face, transparency matters more than Instagram likes.

💬 Have you ever seen a before-and-after that looked too good to be true?

Wa wa wee wa! 🇰🇿😂

We made the mistake of letting VORAT loose inside FORM Face + Body.

He came for a hair transplant. He stayed for… well, pretty much everything.

From hair restoration and TED to lasers, surgery, men’s and women’s health, and longevity treatments — VORAT discovers that FORM is not your average clinic.

Somewhere between the red light therapy and the operating rooms, we may have created a monster. 😂

Very nice. HIGH FIVE! ✋

🎬 Watch until the end. And please… don’t tell his wife.

🎄 Want glowing skin for the holidays? Timing is everything. ✨

Not all lasers are created equal — and neither are their recovery times.

Some treatments have you back to your regular routine in a day or two. Others require a week or more of healing before you’re ready for the holiday party circuit. 🥂

The secret? Plan backwards from your big event.

At FORM Face + Body, we customize laser treatments based on your skin, your goals, and how much downtime you can realistically afford.

Because the goal isn’t just better skin — it’s looking and feeling your best when it matters.

📅 Laser season is here. Don’t leave your holiday glow until the last minute.

Do you really need a STACK? 🤔

More treatments don’t always mean better results.

At FORM, we believe in strategic stacking—combining treatments to address different layers of facial aging and skin health.

But not everyone needs a stack.

Sometimes one treatment is enough. Other times, combining technologies can achieve results that no single treatment can deliver.

It’s about understanding your anatomy, your skin, and your goals—not selling more procedures.

Assessment first. Treatment second. Results always.

That’s the FORM difference.
