Ortho without restorative vision is incomplete.
Restorations without orthodontic planning are invasive.

This is the ortho-restorative digital workflow we apply daily.

In this case 3 veneers+3 crowns after ortho from @dr.alfouzan for an amazing natural result! by @dr.ndovidio

Most dental clinics just give everyone the same cookie cutter “Hollywood Smile” (think uniformly white, veneered teeth). Crown Dental thinks that approach is too aggressive and wrong, which is why Nicolò D’Ovidio, a restorative dentist, and Meshari AlFouzan, a consultant Orthodontist (braces and alignment), co invented a new treatment method that solves that problem.

Usually those two specialties work separately and one after the other. So in a normal clinic, you’d finish orthodontic treatment first, then start the cosmetic or restorative work. Two separate phases, two separate plans. Their idea was to plan both treatments together from day one, using digital technology to map out the final result before any treatment starts. They called it DOPT™️, which stands for Digitally Driven Ortho Prosthetic Treatment. This isn’t a technique borrowed from somewhere else, it’s a treatment philosophy they developed here in Kuwait that’s now being adopted internationally.

This is an important shift because if you know where the teeth are going to end up, you can do a lot less work getting them there. That means less drilling, fewer restorations, less aggressive prep, and a lot less discomfort and cost for the patient. The teeth get moved into the right position first, and then only the minimum cosmetic work is done on top of that.

Their invention of the DOPT™️ treatment method earned Crown Dental the title of the first and only Center of Excellence in Ortho Restorative Dentistry in the Middle East and Africa. The treatment is now being taught to other dentists around the world, helping standardize the approach and expand its use beyond the clinic.

“Minimal intervention. Maximum harmony.

Closing spaces without over-treating, preserving natural anatomy and respecting the smile’s character.
A conservative DOPT approach focused on balance, texture and integration — not just white teeth.

Natural. Functional. Timeless.” ✨

Invisalign+4 veneers. Not 20.
A natural smile doesn’t need to look “done.”

Minimal intervention, maximum harmony — respecting the patient’s original anatomy, proportions and personality.

Natural. Conservative. Personalized.
This is the philosophy behind DOPT™ — Digital Ortho-Prostho Technique.

6 Minimally Invasive Ceramic Restorations & 1 goal: Harmony
.
This case was treated with just 6 anterior restorations, designed to improve tooth proportions, anterior guidance and overall smile harmony while preserving a natural appearance.

The objective was never to create a “perfect” smile — but to create a smile that belongs to the patient.

Minimal intervention. Maximum integration.
Because aesthetic dentistry should begin with function, respect biology, and end with something that looks completely natural.

‼️D.O.P.T‼️

Small teeth. Uneven proportions. A smile waiting to be designed.

After Invisalign with @dr.alfouzan, the teeth were aligned and the foundation was created.
The final step was not about making the smile bigger, whiter or more artificial — it was about restoring the right proportions.

With just 6 minimally invasive veneers, initially planned with Smile Architect we refined the shape, balance and harmony of the smile while preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible.

The result?
A natural smile that looks like it has always belonged to her.

Orthodontics creates the position.
Restorative dentistry creates the final harmony.
Together, they create a smile — not a makeover.
