⚔️ The Warrior Goddess 🌺🇮🇳

🩷 Happy Navratri to all who are celebrating. 🪔🌸

For me, Navratri celebrates the power of a goddess. At its heart, it is a celebration of the supreme power of the divine feminine. 👑✨ A reminder of strength, resilience, courage and grace, and of the incredible power women carry every day. 🌺💫❤️

✨ May we all find a little Warrior Goddess energy within ourselves. 🪔🌸⚔️👑💖✨🕉️

📺✨ BTS | CBBC's Odd Squad! 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣🦋🎬

Some fun behind-the-scenes moments from set, last year! 💜 From costume and character creation to plenty of laughter between takes, it was such a joy bringing Samey Sam to life.

One detail I particularly loved was incorporating some of my own authentic Indian dance jewellery, sourced from villages in India 🇮🇳💎, into the character's look. It adds a personal creative touch while celebrating cultural heritage on screen.

Swipe for a glimpse behind the camera and a few moments that made being Samey Sam so much fun... 🦋✨

🎬 A Casting Director's Challenge: 700+ Applications, 3 Roles 🎭

One of the most rewarding parts of my work as a Casting Director, Concept Creator, Writer and Director is finding the people who can truly bring my characters to life. 🤍

For The Magic Stick, produced by @ririsdanceacademy, we received over 700 applications for just three acting roles. ⭐ Through the audition and recall process, we met an exceptional range of talented professional performers, each bringing something unique to the room.

As my third original children's theatre production conceived, written and directed, The Magic Stick has been an especially exciting creative journey. ✨📖🎭

When you've created the story 💡, written the characters ✍️ and shaped the vision 🎬 from the very beginning, you develop a deep understanding of who those characters are. Casting becomes about so much more than talent alone. It's about authenticity, connection, instinct and discovering the person who makes a character feel truly alive. 💫

The entire process was filled with creativity 🎨, professionalism 👏 and passion ❤️, and I feel incredibly grateful to have met so many talented artists along the way.

🙏 Now, with the tour beginning next week, the excitement is building as we prepare to share this magical story with audiences across the UK. 🇬🇧✨

(And, of course, in a theatre with over 300 seats, my hands are arbitrarily placed on my lucky number 21 ✨🌌💫)

🎬 Produced by: Rushi Munshi
✨ Production Company: Ri Ri's Dance Academy
💡 Concept by: Dr Ria Meera Munshi

📺 CBBC Debut! 🎬

I'm delighted to share my CBBC debut as I play comedy villain 🦋 Samey Sam in Odd Squad 📺🎥

🙏😍 It's truly a dream come true to appear on CBBC and be part of children's television, bringing characters to life and telling stories that spark imagination, laughter, and joy! 💕

🦋 I also added my own creative stamp to the character ✨ by wearing authentic Indian dance jewellery sourced from villages in India. 🇮🇳💎 It aligned beautifully with the costume design and added an extra layer of cultural authenticity to Samey Sam ✨

RIP Nani 💔

I didn't leave Instagram, I left to survive one of the hardest chapters of my life.

On 1st December 2025, my beautiful Nani departed for her heavenly abode.

The past year and a half has been one of the most challenging periods of my life. While navigating my own health struggles, I was also watching the health of my best friend decline. Losing her has left a void that words cannot fully express, and I am still learning how to navigate life without her.

To everyone who sent flowers, messages, prayers, cards, food, support and love, thank you from the bottom of my heart. The kindness shown to my family during our darkest days will never be forgotten.

I may have been absent from this platform, but I was exactly where I needed to be. 🙏

I'm still healing. I'm still grieving. And I'm still learning.

But today, I'm returning with gratitude, love and a heart that will forever carry my Nani's memory.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever my Nani.
Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti.
