🌿 Introducing Kesher: Your Path to Connection and Clarity🌿

I’m excited to announce the launch of my new psychological practice, **Kesher**!

“Kesher,” meaning “bond” in Hebrew, beautifully reflects the connections that shape who we are—our relationships, experiences, and emotions. But “Kesher” also means “knot”, symbolizing those mental and emotional struggles that can feel tangled, holding us back from living fully.

At Kesher, I’m here to help you untangle those knots and guide you toward a place of clarity, healing, and growth. Whether through psychological assessments or therapy, my goal is to support you in strengthening your bonds with yourself and others.

Let’s work together to create the clarity you deserve. ✨

In honor of OCD awareness week.
OCD therapists, unite. 🫡 Let’s retire “I’m so OCD” as an adjective. OCD is debilitating and is NOT an adjective to use for fun. 🤍 by @dr.soffer

I wrote this book because I wanted to help more families build one of the most important life skills: self-regulation.

As a psychologist, I’ve learned that bedtime is so much more than getting kids to sleep. It’s one of the first times each day that children practice calming their bodies, managing big emotions, tolerating frustration, and transitioning from activity to rest. These are skills that support them far beyond bedtime.

When I work with families, bedtime is often where struggles begin, and it’s also where meaningful change can start.

That’s why I wrote The Magic of a Good Night’s Sleep. It’s not just a bedtime story. It’s filled with practical tools and parent tips to help children develop healthy sleep habits while strengthening the emotional regulation skills they’ll use for the rest of their lives.

Because bedtime isn’t just about sleep. It’s where children learn to regulate, feel safe, and recharge for tomorrow. 🤍

So tell me… which child were you?
The one who was always “in trouble,” or the one who tried to be the perfect angel? by @dr.soffer

… and this doesn’t mean ignoring mistakes. It means leading with belief, safety, and confidence so growth feels possible, not scary.

When a child is struggling with learning, behavioral, or emotional challenges, the focus is often on finding the right therapy for the child.

However, as @dr.soffer explains in this podcast episode, this approach may be missing an important piece – the family system. She firmly believes that families function as interconnected systems, and when one member is struggling, the whole system feels the impact.

By shifting the focus from fixing the child to strengthening the entire family system, families can reduce stress, improve relationships, and lead to better outcomes for kids and teens.
